KJK supports Trump

1000 replies

NefertitiV · 31/05/2024 02:36

After the Trump verdict today, KJK retweeted three supportive tweets to her timeline, including one from US ex-Fox host Megyn Kelly that says "Guilty on all counts. The country is disgraced. Alvin Bragg should be disbarred. They will rue the day they released this lawfare to corrupt a presidential election."

Another tweet makes fun of President Biden's stutter.

This is someone currently up for election herself. Given her recent remarks about barring rentals to all trans people, and the fact she has received funding from US conservative political groups, does this concern you?

being a supporter of one of the highest profile misogynists there is

Can you evidence both those claims?

DialSquare · 01/06/2024 10:29

I believe that the OP and I are in the same position regarding KJK. We both agree with some of what she's says and disagree with other things she says.
However, the OP thinks that the things she disagrees with make the things she does agree with look bad. Many of us on here don't think that and still appreciate what she does on the single sex and safeguards side of things.
As I said upthread, I just don't understand why we keep having to go round and round about it.

  1. he's the former president of the USA,current candidate and the only convicted felon. He must be one of the most globally recognised humans. Therefore high profile.

  2. he pays for sex, cheated on his pregnant wife and boasts about grabbing women by the pussy. He also regularly insults womens intellect and appearance and makes very sexualised comments about women. Therefore misogynist.

Actually can't believe you straight faced asked me to type out that justification. It is surely patently obvious 😂

Maybe it’s down to how much headspace people give KJK so she becomes bigger to some and meant to represent their views

There are many other great women pushing back on gender ideology, KJK is good at getting the conversation in front of people - all these threads - but I don’t see that she’s claiming to be all things

EffieeBriest · 01/06/2024 10:34

Pound shop Eva Braun 🙄

People start threads or post on threads when they have things to discuss. I scroll through gazillions of threads I don't post on, either because other posters are saying what I would or I'm learning and have nothing to contribute.

You can't really project someone's interests from the threads they've started.

If one is interested in KJK and how she operates, what that says about politics generally about the rising influence of the American right in the English speaking world (I am too) this is the only place you stand half a chance of finding other posters to discuss it with.

"The influence of the American right in the English-speaking world."

Would it be a great heading for a thread.

But you'd probably end up talking about people who aren't Kellie Jay Keen.

Hedgeoffressian · 01/06/2024 10:36

Big deal 🙄

BezMills · 01/06/2024 10:37

Trump is terrible. How he ended up in the presidential vote, and then won it, is grimly fascinating.

CassieMaddox · 01/06/2024 10:37

Oh, forgot the Donald Trump claim.

  1. she retweets and tweets about him often
  2. she is promoted by, and promotes in return, members of "Moms for Liberty" which is a pro trump Republican group
  3. Party of Women nominating officer, Paul Duddridge is a huge trump supporter (check his twitter)
  4. she was financially supported on her Australian tour by CPAC, a pro-Trump American Conservative group.

From that I can infer that she does indeed support Trump. I'm pretty sure she says she does on one of the recent videos I got told to watch "for context" but I can't remember and have no desire to watch it again.

BezMills · 01/06/2024 10:39

A tweet where she looks like a Trump fan would be enough. lnstead of all that tenuous bollocks

Edited

I'd personally also talk about Miriam Cates, Nigel Farage, Paul Marshall and Tufton Street.
Then get told I hate Tories and have an agenda and basically within a page it would turn into a bun fight by the posters who claim all the ills of the world are generated by "the left".

Can't actually be arsed but I'm happy to chat on other threads like this.

But at least you would have people who are interested in the 'rise of the American right in English-speaking countries'.

Instead of trying to discredit a woman who campaigns against gender ideology. On a sex and gender board.

And trying to tie it in to the 'rise of the American writing English-speaking countries'.

BackToLurk · 01/06/2024 10:43

KJK does remind me a bit of ‘the world’s unluckiest anti racist and peacemaker’ Jeremy Corbyn, who always used to find himself accidentally on platforms with or retweeting all sorts of unsavoury people.

RufustheFactualReindeer · 01/06/2024 10:43

Oops apologies cassie

i am a literal idiot 💐

BezMills · 01/06/2024 10:43

Well I'll agree to disagree that what you posted was tenuous bollocks. We're on post 500+ and not one tweet, not one clip where she is a fan of Trump. He's fucking awful and clearly a massive misogynist

Sloejelly · 01/06/2024 10:44

CassieMaddox · 01/06/2024 10:33

Actually I misread you post as the biggest misogynist there is. I agree he is one of the highest profile ones. But for all the media around him I would dispute he is the biggest misogynist. In a fight with Biden I would say Biden would win though he may be less obvious about it. But globally Trump is only in the foothills of hatred of women compared to others.

EffieeBriest · 01/06/2024 10:48

What about racist, liar, fraud ? Is that enough for you.
Out of interest how does KJK fund herself ?

MyOleMan · 01/06/2024 10:54

Her trips to America are funded by the same funder that funds Moms for Liberty. She runs her British operation by herself and CPAC funded most of the Australian tour

mrshoho · 01/06/2024 10:56

You don't have to look too far to find plenty of Misogynistic individuals in UK politics. Do you have concerns about supporters of anyone of these individuals? Or is this the acceptable left wing misogyny in your mind @CassieMaddox ?

Elaan · 01/06/2024 10:56

Actually I'd say anyone including Biden who supports gender ideology is a bigger misogynist than Trump.

Sloejelly · 01/06/2024 10:59

What about racist, liar, fraud ?

We were talking about misogyny, not his other attributes. I think there are tens of millions of Americans who would make a better president than Trump. But the choice is between Trump and Biden. And on his first day in office Biden signed an executive order undermining women’s rights.

EffieeBriest · 01/06/2024 10:59

@MyOleMan is that a good thing ? Reading about them I’m not sure it is 🤔
