The Telegraph reporting on worrying data showing that young women who've been persuaded that they've been "born in the wrong body" and are on cross sex hormones are experiencing major problems from their use with 95 per cent developing pelvic floor dysfunction.

"Around 87 per cent of the participants had urinary symptoms such as incontinence, frequent toilet visits and bed-wetting, while 74 per cent had bowel issues including constipation or being unable to hold stools or wind in. Some 53 per cent suffered from sexual dysfunction".

And our sainted NHS have been contributing to this without conducting any research.

Yes - there's this constant erosion of boundaries. 10 years ago if you'd had TV programmes airing these images there's be an uproar. The comments on that thread from women forced to have double mastectomies due to cancer are heartbreaking.
Yet it seems that in the interests of this ideology nothing is off the list. No boundary that can't be breached. No group that can't be appropriated / insulted or marginalised and (unforgivably) no group of vulnerable children / young people who can't be targeted and gaslit into believing that the false belief in "changing sex" is a cure for all their vulnerabilities.

Not sure if this has already been posted but it does give the impression of very dubious medical practice.

These risks need to be talked about with the young and often vulnerable people desperately seeking these treatments. It is terrible as well that gender clinics were so against providing information as advised in the Cass report. There is no accurate data on the long term outcomes of cross sex hormones.

I had to delete or block all those images from my Twitter timeline - absolutely awful, and vile and horrific. I'm neither squeamish nor a prude, but that model was just awful - explicit overt woman-hating on show.

Pretty much all that happened to poor Jazz Jennings. But at least his narcisstic mother got the attention she so craved. He could have been living as a thriving young gay man now. I remember seeing a video where she described bullying him into extremely painful daily dilation of his new vagina surgical wound, threatening she would do it to him if he refused. Barbaric child abuse.

Absolutely, these young women no longer get invited to cervical screening whilst AGPs do get letters.

I remember reading about another girl who had her bowel perforated during the surgery. She had faeces leaking out of her incisions but her worries and physical agony was dismissed. She ended up with a colostomy bag for many years. I pray the young transman who posts in mumsnet changes her mind. She has already suffered more surgery and physical hardship in her 30 years of life than most could even imagine.

Jazz is attracted to men, according to the show.

Jazz isn't attracted to anyone sexually, he has no sexual function at all. He's "dated" boys and girls on the show, but it always seems like a pantomime, playing at doing the things sexually mature adults do.

His mother pushed him into transitioning as a toddler, no one has any idea how his sexuality would have developed had he not been medically interfered with.

Given his parents considered him a girl, because he was such a feminine boy and that being gay is a strong indication that these children will be identified as trans, I think it's a pretty educated guess that he would've grown up to be a gay man.

Yes that’s the basis by which I said it, I didn’t think it was particularly controversial to recognise that most of these trans children would have simply grown up to be lesbian or gay. Regardless if people think it is an unfair assumption then I take it back, it wasn’t really the point I was making anyway

Jazz's mother and father should literally be done for child abuse. Jazz is so damaged. He is a cautionary tale for MtF childhood transition just as poor Ellen Page is a cautionary tale for adult lesbians being seduced into transitioning instead of dealing with their trauma.

Jazz was socially transitioned before he was old enough to even understand his own sexed body. He was 3. Puberty blockers at 10. Bottom surgery as a minor.

Bottom surgery meaning removal of testicles, i.e. castration, and inversion of penis to make an open wound labelled a neovagina, the one that needs daily dilation or it will heal up, as the body naturally attempts to do with all wounds?

It is remarkable how parallels can be drawn between the two in how they’ve been treated by parents. And how the people who should be protecting them have built livelihoods around them.

Is there any evidence that all boys who show feminine traits before puberty grow up to be gay? Or is it just that more of them do than in the general population?

The evidence is that a very high percentage of children who present at gender clinics from a very young age are (or end up being) same sex attracted. So there is good reason to think JJ would have been gay if JJ had been allowed to mature sexually.
