It is misguided to think that Labour will be very pro-trans. Keir Starmer has already had to go back on a lot of what he has said about trans issues because it's a vote loser.

The trans issues have had a huge role to play in the downfall of Sturgeon and Yousef. Labour will not go full steam ahead with trans rights which will see a massive backlash, it's just not clever to lose so much popularity so early in government. If Labour gained power 2 or 5 years ago they would've been a lot more pro-trans than today.

Whilst Labour are more pro-trans than Conservative, I think they will be careful, particularly after Cass.

Labour won under Tony Blair with no mention of what they were actualky going to do in office. Just a half dozen bland pledges. Stamer's being guided by that, and the REAL left, are biding their time, quietly, waiting for the landslide, when they will reassert their power.

Trans issues will be on the agenda, and it won't be to restrict trans rights. Though, quite sensibly, self certification or whatever you call it, is pretty well dead I agree. But at the very least, the status quo will remain I think.
