So let's keep it going. My characterisation if the two basic positions are:

1)KJK is a stone cold legend, haters gonna hate but many women will give her cash to bathe in champagne

2. KJK is taking right wing positions for clicks and cash, most recently criticising a doctors conference to stay relevant.

Happy to discuss further. There are some particular posts I want to respond to which I will c&p below

Thankfully the women on this thread who you disapprove of for not being pure enough in their political affiliations aren't in charge of NASA, so it's not really a great comparison, is it. And if you think modern politics and industry is any more principled, on any side, you're extremely naive.

• The NASA comparison wasn't mine.
• I already agreed that I was likely being optimistic in my hopes that people might care about emerging fascism.
• I am not "disapproving of women" that don't agree on these issues. I find it interesting that they don't, and would like to know why. What is the tipping point point? Is there a tipping point? Or as long as your own needs are satisfied, you don't care?

I'm doing my due diligence, as I advised others to on the last thread. If I'm being asked to consider joining or voting for a party I'm going to look into who they are and what they stand for.

Other women can of course choose differently. We aren't a hive mind.

Although I would be interested to know why she's used a US based, male, political commentator as her nominating officer rather than one of any number of feminist women who might do it.

Like I say, I have no interest in being used to drive clicks to her channels. Especially after reading that article about how "influencers" use confrontation to drive engagement.

It's fine. I find it funny too. It's not like I'm actually talking to myself. It's pretty impressive to get to 2x 40 page threads in a week. Shows there is interest in debating what she says.

I do think her choice of "nominator" again shows a lack of judgement. Especially after the Annabel Giles article. And the fact he actively supports "grab them by the pussy" trump. He doesn't sound particularly woman friendly.

Other women may disagree and I'd be interested in their reasoning. I am wondering if there is a difference between choosing not to support someone because "actions speak louder than words" and being guilty of a "purity spiral"?

You thinking "they are all as bad as each other" doesn't negate her point does it?

As I said in my post, no point, no declaration, just something I found interesting as Nazi's had been brought up in a different hypothetical context with KJK.

I am a bit curious as to what you mean by we had no agency then but do now (to a degree)- I'd argue that choices are made all the time in which we have no agency, not even to a degree, then or now tbh.

If you mean who you support/vote for in terms of having agency, it's really just hope that whoever you support/vote for stands by what they said they'd stand by.

I meant that we (as in the people that exist now) can't do anything about what occurred then. However, we can affect change now, whether it be by our votes, activism in all its forms, and even the simple spread of knowledge.

Eresh, I really don't think that's necessary. If haven't claimed anyone is a Nazi. If you can't see the point I was making, then - ?

I keep saying I'm not going to do that. 1) I don't want to give her clicks by using me/my voice on her channel; 2) I doubt I'm going to change my mind or she's going to change hers about why Paul Duddridge is the right person to be her nominating officer.

If she wants to respond she can. She can read this thread like anyone else - she's only banned from posting, not reading. She can always respond on twitter or on YouTube. There is no need whatsoever for me to call her.

I do see the response women get for posting concerns now as very similar to what we got from the TRAs in 2015. It's all a bit #nodebate.

I'm sure KJK would love me to call her, it would make her show a bit more interesting to have debate rather than violent agreement. I'm not going to though. I'd rather make the money for MNHQ by posting my content here and getting clicks for them.
