Planet Fitness is a franchisor with 2.5k gyms in North America. A woman entered her local gym in Alaska to find a man standing in front of the mirror shaving. A 12 year old girl in a towel was sitting in the corner. The woman confronted the man who said he was LGBTQ and could be there. She asked him to leave and he refused. She took his photo (he was fully dressed with shirt hair and looks exactly like any other bloke) and complained to the front desk, who did nothing. She has now had her membership canceled and she has been reported for taking a photo of a member which is against the rules.
She said she is going to report his presence to police.

I think you may have misunderstood me - I am agreeing with exactly what you have said? I even used the same words - this is the problem with Self ID.

As I said any trans person I know would absolutely not put themselves in this situation, using cubicles instead. Because being trans they are just interested in getting changed in a safe way, not gaining access to vulnerable people.

I firmly believe no penis in the female changing rooms would be a better rule, regardless of who they are attached to. Man, TW, whatever else someone identifies as. Make more single cubicles available and everyone is safer.

They basically mean that they believe the desires and agendas of a small handful of men, whatever those agendas may include, outweigh the rights, safety and freedom from sexual use of all women and girls.

I think she’s entitled to be angry, and she may have acted a little too much out of anger (shouting at staff)but largely her actions were justified. I also note that “shouting” has quite a broad definition. I certainly get accused of shouting every time I speak assertively, and I suspect women get accused even more!

Indeed. If the woman who took the photo did shout, good for her. That seems an entirely appropriate response to finding a bloke in a changing room with a semi-naked child.

These people have obviously no idea about indecent exposure, the kind of people men who do it, and its relationship with other sex crimes.
