I know there are other Scarlet Blake threads but I thought this was significant enough to start a new thread.
According to The Telegraph the murder is to be recorded as a crime committed by a woman.

Yes.

The murderer will be a woman in the statistics, but imprisoned a men's prison. Why is a lie acceptable in one but not in the other? Why is the collateral damage irrelevant in one but relevant in the other?

How can they decide it's a woman's crime when they have already decided he will go to the male estate? Or should we just be grateful they consider him male enough to go there. Ugh...

It's wrong. It's incoherent and it's an example of how completely fucked up all the data is from the police & the MoJ. Civil servants at the MoJ have been pushing this stuff to the detriment of women for years now and we know that they've actively corrupted our national crime data.

The process seems to be you get arrested, booked in as your preferred gender and that whats
it gets recorded as if you are eventually convicted.

Presumably they've got the bastards dna on record though.

You'd think they'd have a way of correcting the record to match wouldn't you. Hopefully at some point sanity will assert itself and they'll be able to put it right across the board.

These sort of crimes are so rarely committed by women that adding in even a small number from transwomen totally skews the statistics, and makes it look like women are becoming dramatically more violent. Which is seized upon enthusiastically by MRAs.

How confident are you that the women in the article you read about DV were all 100% female? Are you absolutely 100% positive no males were included?

Funny how identifying as innocent does not mean that they are recorded as being innocent. Or identifying s somebody else entirely does not mean that they are recorded as that other person, and therefore could not possibly be the person who committed the crime.

Again, why is one lie unquestionably acceptable, but other lies are discounted?

When I first heard bout this crime, I thought it sounded so unusual for a woman to do something so unthinkable to an animal and was not surprised to learn she had been a man - it’s so misleading ( RIP to the poor man who was then murdered)

It affects the average woman because this is not a crime that was carried out by a woman but by a man. You might not be arsed about that I'm fucking fuming.

Can that process where if you get so many signatures then something has to be debated in parliament be used?

The debate being biologically men's crimes being recorded officially as women's crimes. Might as well throw in being reported as women's crimes for good measure.

I'm sure the threshold for debate would be met in record time as half the population are being asked to accept that a biological male that tortures animals and murders people belongs with them as a woman purely because he chooses "woman" rather than "man" on a police check in form.

Maybe - it has to be something that's within the remit of parliament to deal with. Not sure if this is?
