There was a thread a couple of weeks about this case that got deleted. Obviously it's an ongoing trial but it's as we suspected with the defendent.

Suspect it's the journalists out-woking each other.

Got to say it makes much more sense that this was a crime perpetrated by a man. It didn't sit right that it was a woman who had committed the murder in this case.

Scarlet is in a men's prison. If / when Scarlet is convicted, they will go to the men's estate. This is not up for debate.

I was just coming on to post this. MN dinosaurs called it right again. The local press don't seem capable of reporting what we figured out for ourselves.

It's long overdue for one of the mainstream press to challenge these toxic guidelines that embed lying into press reporting of sex offences, murder, child abuse, animal abuse , VAWG etc.

It would just take one of the major players to do what I recall the Scottish government did? Recognise a male born rapist (Isla Bryson) was not a woman but a rapist or a ... 🤔

Time for the Mail, Telegraph, Times or any other serious media outlet that sees itself as speaking the truth to start reporting accurately the sex of the offender and challenge the legality of these "guidelines" .

There are of course plenty of cases for them to choose from

Its a bit weird that transwomen don't show female patterns of offending after transition. By rights, they should all be in the nick for drug smuggling, benefit fraud and not paying their TV licences. Yet they keep on displaying distinctly male patterns of offending, with a very heavy bias towards sexual offending.

The narrative from the trial mirrors so many commonalities that members of this forum have highlighted and linked to over the last few years - Discord/meets another male identifying as a woman/online relationship with someone in the US/discussions about death, murder etc.

I suspect the 'Ashlynn Bell' referred to is a much older male.

It reads like a reverse of the other high profile case of young murderers falling into the dark web and malevolent influences - but sadly I doubt (but would be highly impressed if they do) that trans rights activists will be protesting the risks of social media and the internet to vulnerable trans-identifying males.

Well, it might if posters were being careful not to commit contempt of court. Unfortunately that is not the case with many posts. Remember, everyone is entitled to a fair trial and you cannot assume guilt.

Absolutely @Flamme and my own post was not suggesting guilt re murder by the defendant, only providing comment on the defendant's discussion about their online relationship with Ashlynn Bell and their actions the defendant has described in their own words in court as being related directly to that relationship - ie self harm, harming the cat etc.

Thank you OP. I had thought the crimes, individually and collectively, were more likely to be male but all the news sources seemed to be insistent these were the crimes of a woman. Myra Hindley and Rose West were outliers so I guess SB could have been another exception. Nope, this board was correct all along.
