There was a thread a couple of weeks about this case that got deleted. Obviously it's an ongoing trial but it's as we suspected with the defendent.

These violent women some murder and some rape. But none of them are really women. They must stop recording these crimes as being done by women - they clearly were not. Need a new category of trans woman or man identify as a female gender did it.

So the BBC were a lot clearer, and less ambiguous, 26 years ago, than they are now? 🙄It's enough to make you wonder why, isn't it?

ITV news just described him as a transgender woman. A woman dressed as a man would be a fairer description and I really hope he goes to a male prison, surely that has to happen. What a sicko though - that poor guy he killed.

The latest BBC update does seem to have taken notice of comments about the word ‘woman’ used in isolation, but says:

“The Ministry of Justice said Blake, who is transgender, would serve the sentence in a men's prison.”

Why not just ‘Blake, who is male’?

The jury will be given counselling because of what they had to hear and see, but heaven forbid that the BBC doesn’t respect Blake’s identity!

Lots of people will be confused as to what a transgender woman is. Many will think it is a woman.

I can imagine that TRAS might say "Why does it matter"? They like the idea of blurred boundaries and fluid definitions. Where there is no objective truth.

What might be good is if the bleeding hearts like Nandy etc could write a few articles and go on TV interviews handwringing over the injustice of this "woman" murderer and cat killer serving a life sentence in a male prison.

Thames Valley Police have a markedly different approach to the press.

If you can see it you should be able to community note it back, there is an ability to say that someone's note is abuse or incorrect.

And JKR and Louise Tickle did not call Scarlett a transgender woman. What with Scarlett being a man. Think I might start with trans man as short for trans identifying man or transgender man. It will help everyone with clarity 😉
