The person who did a dive in Jack Monroe’s inconsistencies about her income has put together some information about Stephanie Hayden

https://grift.watch/stephanie-hayden/

I can’t go back and copy and paste bits as my browser is playing up and will erase the post but it’s eye opening!

Stephanie Hayden

⚠️Stephanie Hayden has threatened to sue me for defamation if I publish this. I publish this in the public interest as a citizen journalist given Hayden is a lawyer, and a controversial self-styled public figure, whose conduct has raised many questions...

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

😂 🤡

Oh no,this is tragic.

That statement really sums up the delusions, doesn’t it. So officious, thinking anyone will miss or care?

I'm sure all the editors of the national papers have been kicking themselves this morning for not holding the front page.

PronounssheRa · 23/02/2024 12:55

I love the statements (when I say love, I mean laugh at)

They are just so bizarre

SabrinaThwaite · 23/02/2024 12:56

I liked the way that the flounce post is headed "London".

Well, this is a turn up.

Sharon Stentons writing style is interesting

Also used 'took' instead of 'taken.'

Lawyers tend to be better at spag.

You mean real lawyers I assume.

Using “took” instead of “taken” sounds like a vernacular style that might be from, oh let me see, Liverpool way?

Definately giving me AC-12 vibes is this thread.

does the link work for anyone else?
ssl error for me

Melroses · 23/02/2024 17:53

It works for me.

The company info is interesting. We knew Hayden had many, many companies under different names and I never really understood the reasoning behind people doing this, but some of that is starting to become clear.

lechiffre55 · 23/02/2024 18:03

I can view via some archives/proxies.
The fruit farmers seem to have their popcorn at the ready :)

Both links work for me. So far the only think I can't figure out is how this 'person' gets free legal fees.

They must get a qualifying benefit, maybe PIP

Not sure what that is. (not UK based etc). Some kind of social security payment clearly. Yet all the time we hear legal aid is underfunded. Surely you are means tested for legal costs to be waived? Is this a separate scheme?

DewinDwl · 23/02/2024 21:30

So allegedly VAT was being charged by companies that were not VAT-registered 😮

SabrinaThwaite · 23/02/2024 21:31

Legal aid is different (covers the cost of legal advice : representation) - Help with Fees covers court filing costs.

The list of benefits giving eligibility for Help for Fees is quite limited, plus you have to have very limited savings. Otherwise it’s a relatively low income plus limited savings.

Why does Hayden keep getting away with it? I don't understand it.

Playing the trans card.

Why is it ok for SH to use SH's dead name on those letters, but if we do it proceedings are taken?

Tarquina · 23/02/2024 22:11

lechiffre55 · 14/02/2024 15:54

Does anyone have knowledge of how the Help for Fees system work?
Does it involve making a signed declaration about the applying individual's financial circumstances? And if you tell porkies, or bend the truth in that declaration is it considered fraud?

You must have less than £3,000 in savings. So if you had say 24,000 pounds of somebody else's money in your bank account you wouldn't be eligible

BoreOfWhabylon · 23/02/2024 22:27

Beware, flying monkeys will be circling and flexing their reporting fingers
This popcorn's delicious!

I would have thought frequent world wide travel would exclude from assistance, it certainly would for those in my country.

When you say "someone else's money" does that include VAT charges that were charged and recieved but not passed on? Just asking for a friend.

Boadicea2 · 26/02/2024 17:51

Sean Doyle has a crowdfnder if anyone would like to annoy Hayden.
