Ageism and Disablism are like Sexism, in being theoretically banned by equality law, yet somehow being "less equal than others". By definition, there is no equality, as soon as there is a priority group, e.g. when some are defined as protected by the term 'hate crime' and some are not. Or when Racism was first protected as the single prejudice defined as a criminal offence, enforced by police, and therefore "more equal than any".

His continued stance, towards women and their safety, is what will stop me lending Labour my vote later this year.

What he’s willing to say in public, with an election looming, is the watered-down version of what he and the party want to implement.

And if this is what they’ve deemed is safe enough (ie won’t scare too many horses) for public release, then WTAF will the reality look like?!

The woman/cervix thing wasn’t just Starmer saying “well, legally some men can have a cervix, it’s what we lawyers call a legal fiction” he said it was “something that shouldn’t be said” and looked acutely uncomfortable, as if someone had just used really bad language or said something racist.

I'm not voting to spite anyone; I'm exercising my democratic right to vote whoever I chose and whoever I feel is best suited to fight for my rights and that of my daughters. Labour are fools; if they feel empowered to say this pre-election can you imagine the stuff they'll come out with if they get in power. No way am I risking a vote on a women-hating party.
