The mention of children is unclear but must have a background to the full speech? LGBT Labour hasn't tweeted about it but others have. Rayner and Dodds also in attendance.

I see no indications Labour are planning to do anything differently; I think they are proposing to implement a policy the Tories have dilly dallyed on.

I wonder why they have dilly dallied? And why Labour would gallop that through?

Because it looks a lot like there are enough people in the tories pointing out the great big huge issues with it, including the voices from the LGB groups, and the leadership are in a state of 'shit, this is a trojan horse to cause years of disaster isn't it? It will be another fuck up like the GRA. If we try to take out the TQ bit the lobby will scream and the PR will suck, so its safest in the long grass'.

Yep, that's exactly what we feared. A 12 yo says "I am Trans". OF COURSE parents don't want that (well the sane ones don't) parents or Therapist says "Are you sure? Let's talk about this" BANG! That's Conversion Therapy, Parents and therapists convicted.
