More than that, I'm not sure feminism is coherent enough as an ideology to be a very useful label. Maybe it means "influenced by certain 20th century ideas about the place of women in society" but it's still so broad that it could mean almost anything.
Or alternately, some make it so narrow (you must believe in "the patriarchy" you must accept a Marxist view of the hierarchy of oppression, you must advocate for all abortion restrictions to be banned at any stage of pregnancy without any qualms, you must believe all differences between men and women in society represent socialized differences that are disadvantageous to women, etc) that of course there are going to be tons of women, probably most, who don't agree, and yet they still feel comfortable claiming to speak for women as a whole.
To look to practically address women's needs in society seems like a much more effective and also reality based proposition, and in many ways, more respectful of the many different perspectives that actual women have.
