Video in link. They say it is a bit 'prostitutey' but main concern is she's hot...

What a revolting pair.

roombaclean · 02/12/2023 07:36

Is the 'Brazilian' part simply a joke, that's the type of woman they coveted and they got 'something' like it? I seem to remember reading they had a failed attempt with a Brazilian donor.

Urghh they really are disturbingly self-obsessed. Poor bloody babies having them as dads.

Jesus Christ

Nice to know, that their (potential) child’s origin story, felt ‘a bit prostitutey’. That they valued image and performance over love, values, and connection. I wonder what pressure said child will be under as they grown up? If it happens to be a female child, will they encourage her to be a bit prostitutey too?

Helleofabore · 02/12/2023 08:15

I am sure in the future they will cringe that they completely dehumanised women to get what wanted. They treated women like breeding stock.

No, I am not really sure, that is my wishful thinking that no one could be lacking self awareness to that degree.

They have boy/girl twins.

RebelliousCow · 02/12/2023 08:58

The surrogate of the twins lives in Chester, and is called Bex - and still a peripheral figure from what i can work out.

To be fair, I think they'll make very loving and responsible parents. They are surrounded by supportive friends and family too.

No, I don’t think they will either. To do so would admit the circumstances of the birth of the children was wrong, which is mentally tough thing to put on your kids. I don’t think anyone who’s bought a baby will be brave enough to say they were wrong to do so. I can’t think of anyone who has done this.

It’s not guaranteed, but it’s more likely a child will feel the trauma of that circumstance as an adult, because that’s happened.

RebelliousCow · 02/12/2023 09:34

I think the main issue for the twins will arise when they want to know who their mother is. Is it the egg donor, or is it the surrogate, or both? This is also an issue for anyone who uses a sperm donor or donated eggs because of fertility issues or perhaps because they are two women in a lesbian relationship. It is not an inconsequential issue.

As for Ollie and Gareth they are both good people with a lot of love to give. I'm sure the children will be as loved and chrished as any others, and perhaps even more so than some.

To be fair they developed a close relationship with the surrogate throughout the pregnancy. She actually approached them in the first instance, after the first two implantations failed.

WatchingBoat · 02/12/2023 11:27

That’s thoroughly unpleasant. Let them quote those comments when they’re next round the house of Jake and Hannah Graf having a cosy chat about the marvels of surrogacy (they’re good mates) How utterly unthinking of them to go on record like that - poor child(ren?)knowing they were brought/bought into the world like some ‘product’. Yes, I’m sure their parenting will be exemplary but have they not a shred of self-awareness. A ‘bit prostitutey’ ?? FFS

Boiledbeetle · 02/12/2023 11:34

I Hope the children never see that clip when they are older.

Managingwithlimitations · 02/12/2023 11:38

Actually I think their description of it being ‘a bit prostitutey’ is a good thing - because it does highlight that even those accessing surrogacy have feelings it’s not as it should be it might make others think if a high profile couple are likening it to prostitution which is linked to human trafficking, paying for the body of another and so on ….

Locke displays a profound lack of self awareness, misogyny and seems a narcissistic cock. Bragging about baby buying at "half a million quid" is the very reason he should not be enabled to exploit women and babies like this. I predict in 4 years he will begin his transition.

AIstolemylunch · 02/12/2023 11:48

Is Ollie Locke the one pretending to be posh a d from Chelsea by saying 'terribly' all the time when he's apparently from Southampton? Looks and sounds like a horrible person. Poor kids, such a fake origin and existence. I bet then have teams of nannies, no way this pair are bullying themselves with dirty nappies and baby sick.

AIstolemylunch · 02/12/2023 11:48

Sullying

Ebokebok · 02/12/2023 11:49

They're a pair of pricks but they're surrounded by fawning rich friends who tell them they're oh so brave and marvellous. They're the 'acceptable' face of child trafficking.

AIstolemylunch · 02/12/2023 11:54

Just looked them up as well as had never heard of them and Christ the hypocrisy. They look like aging plastic twinks who aren't aging at all well.

Villagetoraiseachild · 02/12/2023 14:23

I dearly hope they don't pimp those poor kids out on future tv shows.

uhOhOP · 02/12/2023 14:31

They are gross, aren't they? They couldn't really have made it any clearer that the children were a purchase.

Villagetoraiseachild · 02/12/2023 14:38

That was a hopeless hope, apparently/according to the article they left Made in to produce their own YouTube channel, Daddy Diaries. So they can have more control.....
They are all about the show.

Why more so because they were specially selected and cost lots of money and give their parents coverage in crappy 'sleb magazines and social media?
Oh yes, so much more...

Are you their p.r/family/superfan? Lots of insider apparent knowledge!
