Even if he got his wish and the women were forced to play the game, all they have to is in the first thirty seconds of the game say or do something that warrants a red card and get sent off!

PP are right for pointing out that he was just following the FA rules (as misogynistic as they are). What he could achieve by sueing the clubs is to have them censured by the FA for being discriminatory and fined or banned from playing. Then other clubs will think twice about refusing to play trans identifying males. The fact you are permitted single sex sports by law, doesn't really help when the sports governing body has decided it's all fine, nothing to see here.

The FA needs to finally face a reckoning over this. It has badly let down female players for years and displayed absolute cowardice on this subject.

They can protest like the footballers have with the racism. By literally refusing to play whilst being on the pitch.

Just as women’s football starts to pick up sponsorship and public interest it gets torn apart by this.

I did think they could just walk the full 90 minutes, and not go near the ball, but I wouldn't be surprised If he still managed to cause harm to them whilst they were on the pitch.

I've been wondering for a few days about all the filter usage: don't transwomen actually see each other in public? I loosely work in the sports industry and I can tell you it's been captured big time. It's all magical thinking, rainbows, unicorns & #be kind. The word woman has almost become a tabboo, I don't know how we came to this stage.

I hope you are not being serious.. why should that team have the advantage of a much bigger player in the goal.. most men can reach the cross bar without much effort and can cover a much larger area of the goal than the average women.. this advantage in this position is staggering.

It would, however, be very traditional. When I was a kid, if the boy who wanted to be a professional goalie wasn't around and no-one else wanted to be goalkeeper, we forced the position on the kid in the street that everyone liked least...

I hope they do sue and find a lawyer to stand in court and say fairness in football requires teams to field their 16 year old girls to face this adult male person in a physical contest.

Perhaps he can fuck off to a man's team and play in goal there.
