Employment Tribunal starts next Monday, not sure if it is available for remote viewing.

I have sent a request so we will see.

Ah thanks @ickky One thing which I find interesting at these tribunals is how they all manage to be incompetent in different ways eg bundle issues with Allisons trial; tech issues with all of them; strict timetable that no one sticks to at this one. Is this just what the system is like?

GCITC · 06/10/2023 10:11

All those hours spent meticulously timetabling. What a waste.

Melissamelisante · 06/10/2023 10:12

Anyone in yet?

ickky · 06/10/2023 10:12

@Chrysanthemum5

From all that I have seen, it is the norm. Such a waste of time and money.

Just seen Tribunal Tweets update that it will start 10:15 at earliest today.

ickky · 06/10/2023 10:13

No TT tweeted at the earliest 10.15am, there is an unspecified delay.

Just wanted to say thank you @ickky for posting the thread reader links for TT. I’m avoiding twitter so they’re super helpful

MyLadyDisdainlsYetLiving · 06/10/2023 10:30

TT reporting the judge having IT issues again this morning. We're in, but sound as only just turned on.

ickky · 06/10/2023 10:31

JM to JP, you are opposed to Stonewall in Universities? (said incredulously)

Yes, I am on record as being opposed.

OP posts:
Melissamelisante · 06/10/2023 10:38

God she's crap.

MyLadyDisdainlsYetLiving · 06/10/2023 10:40

Is OU counsel trying to show that Prof Jo has changed her story overnight? I thought she was answering a question from the Judge (didn't catch what it actually was)

Chrysanthemum5 · 06/10/2023 10:40

So JM is saying a letter asking the OU to withdraw funding and support does not mean that JP's work was stopped. So does JM feel that if she were subject to a campaign asking for her trials to not be funded then that would not damage her work?

Chrysanthemum5 · 06/10/2023 10:41

JM sounding very belligerent today and basically accusing JP of lying

LipbalmOrKnickers · 06/10/2023 10:42

I feel she's grasping at straws today. Good.

ickky · 06/10/2023 10:42

Did anyone hear what the judge said?

OP posts:
MyLadyDisdainlsYetLiving · 06/10/2023 10:42

ooh, judge pulling up OP counsel

Melissamelisante · 06/10/2023 10:43

She's not making a good show of herself - she's very combative.

ickky · 06/10/2023 10:44

BC intervenes, snippy reply from JM

BC said council should not engage in general commentary, rather than ask questions.

OP posts:
LipbalmOrKnickers · 06/10/2023 10:44

Ben nipping in to object to OU counsel's 'commentary on evidence'

MyLadyDisdainlsYetLiving · 06/10/2023 10:44

Judge: We've got your point now (to OP Counsel)

MyLadyDisdainlsYetLiving · 06/10/2023 10:45

The cynical side of me wonders how much of this is OP Counsel trying to unsettle JP again in an attempt to show her as an emotional and unreliable witness.

ickky · 06/10/2023 10:48

JM keeps cutting off JP when she is trying to answer, so rude and annoying.

OP posts:
ickky · 06/10/2023 10:50

JM accusing JP as again not being broken by the open letter from colleagues to the OU complaining about the GC network, as she sent a WhatsApp message basically saying gird your loins, incoming.

OP posts:
Chrysanthemum5 · 06/10/2023 10:51

Oh JM didn't like JP pointing out that the situation caused her ptsd
