Employment Tribunal starts next Monday, not sure if it is available for remote viewing.

Someone, somewhere looked down the list, saw one of the biggest cases in the tribunal system, a case which thousands of academics and women would want to follow, and thought 'Watford'll be fine.'

JM The negative (according to you environment) was just a number of fellow academics and nothing to do with the OU as such.

I feel awful for Jo. This really isn't an easy thing to watch, I can't imagine how it must feel to have this kind of mud slung by representatives of an institution you loved so much.

JM It's all an overblown description. You are constructing a fantasy of what it was like at the time, just to back up your argument.

I'm thinking back to the early parts of Jo's witness statement and thinking how utterly traumatic it must be to be not believed all over again, and I'm also thinking that JM is aware of this and it makes her questioning even more unpleasant.

Absolutely. I co-admin a sport-specific GC group and we don’t talk openly about how worried we are about being outed. We don’t NEED to because it’s a given. It’s why we VERY carefully vet new members and have a whole host of rules about not even talking about the group openly.

Equally, in my job, I know plenty of people who have similar views to me or who are, at least, broadly sympathetic. Absolutely none of us are open about our views because we know what happens in academia. We don’t need to discuss why we’re scared because we all KNOW.

In other cases very large bundles/documents of several thousand pages were sometimes slow to open. But this is a single statement and relatively small. As ever logging out and in again seems to solve a lot of problems!

When she is not upset, JP is extremely clear, good at getting to the actual question, puts things into context, checks misleading definitions before answering a question, and so on. It would suit JM to upset her.

JM trying to characterise GC's are by their nature anti trans.

Personally I am anti perverts, anti men abusing women only spaces.
