Employment Tribunal starts next Monday, not sure if it is available for remote viewing.

Long and the short: Thurs 10am start, Jo continuing to give evidence all day til 4pm, also Fri 10 am start, Jo giving evidence until 1:15pm.

This is absurd. Fair enough to indicate the rough timetable over the next couple of days but to the minute?! There are natural points to pause in exam and cross exam. I bet counsel think this is a ridiculous waste of time too.

Is this the judge’s inexperience showing?

You can see why they need 15 days, half of them is fannying about by the court.

I've written Fribonce (??) Everyone is pronouncing it differently, which is unhelpful but is also making me laugh.

There is absolutely no way this strict minute by minute timetable can be stuck to. It's pointless. Broad outline of the order of witnesses and how long they'll take but this is bonkers.

They seem to have adjusted the camera view so we can see the panel and hopefully the microphones.

I am always amazed how slow paced an ET is compared to the rushing around I always did. It reminds me that having proper breaks, lunch etc. is important and too many times I neglected to take them.

At least Hochhauser was charismatic!

No word from friends on the ground in Watford. Presume they've turned their phones off: recording is prohibited and it may be that staff intervene if they see people on their phones. Will try to speak to them during lunch break. Those who've been waiting since 8-ish (got there early in the hope of getting into the public gallery) will be feeling pretty shattered. This just prolongs the agony for Jo.

Is it true that only 30 people can observe online? There were more than 50 (she said something along the lines of 'I can see around 50 applications... Oh, more, 50 at least but a lot more') people who had applied and hadn't been granted online access.
