Anyone else on here planning to attend this?

I'm glad it went well and that lots of people were able to speak and be heard. Well done to the Stewards and the Gardai. Is there another one planned? Or is there no word yet?

My young teens and their friends know gender identity is nonsense. But they smile and nod when the TRA bullies start mouthing off at school so as not to draw attention to themselves.

Seeing women bravely speaking up against the rabble is great for them.

So encouraging to see the sensible policing of the Dublin Let Women Speak event! Yeah Glinner’s a man, and they <gasp> allowed him to speak, but he’s been a rare male voice defending women’s rights and the crowd there wanted to thank him. He kept it brief and pointed out the real fascists in this ridiculous gender fad/craze - SPOILER: It ain’t the women.

But I see the MRAs have managed to organise not just the usual one, single, solitary teenager to attack MN for, er, you know, something-or-other, but TWO!

Honestly, the lies and distraction techniques you are using are so transparent they are laughable.

Noone on the GC side here is arguing against trans rights. You can have your third spaces, no access to women's spaces, no secret genderised teaching in schools, no men in women's sport. Strict anti bullying laws. Effectively no change in human rights, we're all the same in the eyes of the law.

But of course, you don't want that. You want access to women's spaces, kids to be inculcated in gender theory and their new IDs hidden from parents, men unimpeded in women's toilets, changing rooms, sports and prisons.

Zero sum game means LWS meets and anti women's protests will continue. As will the drone of TRAs that resistance to their "simple" demands mean GCs consort with fascists.

Even the articles Kellie-Jay is sharing (this one is from the Sunday Times) shows a very mixed crowd.

No, this was the barrier Glinner stuck his finger up to which seems to be predominantly lined with men. Plus a picture of Lenin. 😁I would consider Glinner's gesture a pretty polite response to some of those banners.

And I think this video, from the TRA side of the barrier, actually shows Glinner approaching the barrier (about 3 secs in) with his phone to take the photo in question. A person on the TRA side clearly flips the bird at Glinner when he's just taking a photo and isn't making any gestures to the TRAs. A placard then blocks the view of Glinner but I'd say it's likely the moment he then responds by sticking a finger back at them.

In fact, I'm now 99.9% sure it was this moment, as the cardboard placard that blocks the view of Glinner in the second video, can clearly be seen in the far-right hand side of the photo Glinner uploaded.

I also spy 50 something heterosexual Richard Boyd Barrett TD. Although he is in a very affluent middle class constituency I think he is gone at the next election. Hard to win without women you see. Which is a pity as we do need a left voice here. But it is self inflicted.
