UK women’s rights activist Kellie-Jay Keen has issued John Pesutto’s entire Victorian Liberal leadership team with defamation concerns notices, giving them 28 days to apologise and pay compensation for making “grossly misconceived, wilfully vexatious, and wretchedly false” claims, or face federal court action.

In her legal letter sent to the Liberal leader, his deputy David Southwick, upper house leader Georgie Crozier and her deputy Matt Bach on Monday, Ms Keen claims their conduct has seen her become the target of “extreme hate, abuse, harassment, and stalking”, and culminated in her “being physically attacked” and “placed in life threatening danger” at a Let Women Speak rally in New Zealand.

I really do hope that she wins her case and that a precedent is set, so that news organisations can't print such egregious lies about her and other women campaigners. They can't be allowed to carry on, publishing such manifestly biased rubbish.

The so-called "evidence" for the politicians' claims against KJK (helpfully included in the archived doc) was clearly thrown together, probably by a SpAD/researcher. It's obvious that it was gleaned from the most cursory trawl of Wikipedia and TRA Twitter. No attempt to verify the accuracy or reliability of any of the claims.

It really is astonishing.

I actually hope this goes to court. Because I would like all the fucked up accusations that have constantly been regurgitated here on these threads to be presented in court with the evidence noted on record to refute them.

Maybe it will then roll out to prevent them being posted on Wikipedia again, and we can finally stop having to defend the ludicrous fuckwittery. I expect that Pesutto should then resign, after all, Moira was expelled due to bringing the legal action against him which would not have been necessary if he and his team had done the work. It was they who brought the party into ’disrepute’ so to speak. It was his and his team’s own inadequate research that caused this issue to start with. I expect by the end of this that the slim lead he had will be gone.

The document will be useful for when the usual fuckwits inevitably turn up on threads to inform us of KJK's nazism.

either way is going to be a lot of fun. I know KJK likes to fund her own legal action (out of the money that would otherwise be ‘funding her lifestyle’) but I’d happily garden for this one.

Despite KJK getting the lions share of attention here, imho the bigger sin was perpetrated against Moira Deeming.

She's been shunned by her whole party.
Literally called a "terrorist" by so-called colleague after so-called colleague.

If words are violence, then being called a terrorist is demonstrably worse than hackneyed phases like Nazi, fascist, extremist.

Because, we know real terrorists, don't we?

Brevik in Norway, the Manchester Arena bomber, IRA bombers in the 70s and 80s, Abu Hamza etc.

Her so-called colleagues referred to her in terms that we'd reserve for these scum.

Bit disappointing. People have literally gone to prison for online Nazi jokes, I’m shocked she has admitted to the Nazi Barbie profile thing. I was sure that was fake.
