I was just at a work event and a colleague just told me she needed a wee but couldn't go because the toilets were unisex and she didn't feel comfortable and looked at me quizzically. I replied by telling her I'd seen some ladies ones on the way in that were just around the corner and gave her directions. But I'm now wondering if this was some kind of hint I should have picked up on! 🤔

Really ? I think that black women and children are just as much at risk from males in women’s safe spaces .

Many black elderly and disabled women and girls don’t want to be forced to have intimate care from males.

If anything, black communities in the USA have been much more vociferous in defending their children’s rights in education.

Muslim women ( who are mostly Asian ) have huge concerns about their right to privacy and dignity in shop or sports changing rooms and showers.

Many of the woman athletes missing out medals and sport scholarships are BAME.

So no, it’s not all about white able bodied women . Who BTW are still people with human rights, despite some people’s attempts to suggest otherwise .

Rest assured it was not Billy Fucking Bragg - I could never stand him - all that worthiness is just painful. And his singing is pure torture.

I spent 3 consecutive New Year’s Eves in the early 90s at Billy Bragg concerts - 2 of them featuring the gorgeous much-missed Kirsty MacColl. I loved him, but he’s become a bit of a knob lately.
