Not sure this is the ‘win’ India thinks it is

India was delighted on Twitter that the hospital band India was wearing said ‘female’.

I hope for India’s sake that India’s doctors understand biology and should India need a transfusion of blood that India does not receive blood from a female who has previously been pregnant.

India doesn’t get it do they. That arm band is the trans equivalent of the sticker a kid gets for being stoic for an injection, or the funky coloured plaster cast covers they let kids choose to distract them from their broken bones.

”India was a very bwave girl today” Yaaaay!

LOL!

To be consumed by cats sounds quite nice to me.

Cats are very picky - I can't see India being consumed by them...

EpicChaos · 20/07/2023 01:38

@puffyisgood hehe, good point, well made, lol :-D

@TheBiologyStupid " Cats are very picky - I can't see India being consumed by them... "

On the other hand, if cats did try to consume him, at least they wouldn't get so many fur balls due to his MPB :-/ So there'd be a silver lining to that particular cloud right there!
lol ;-)

That's really interesting about the blood transfusion. Thanks for teaching me.

This article from time.com (unfortunately, in the title, they use "gender" when they should have used "sex").

A really interesting article. Shame they use gender instead of sex ay the end!

The sheer misogynist nastiness in India’s tweets is a sight to behold. What a piece of work they are.

He is.

I'm very confused I read the entire post thinking it was about the country India. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I should go drink more coffee

🤣🤣🤣

It's not really a good idea to stick a label on top of a patient ID wristband, even if the label also shows the patient's ID. If the wristband is not correct, get a new one; if it is correct, leave it alone.

NHS patient wristbands show the patient's name, date of birth and hospital number only. Not sex or gender or any other information.

India was ‘confused’ last year because JK Rowling invited a couple of gender non conforming lesbians to lunch, but not India.

Apparently it was impossible to understand what it was about Angela & Lianne that made them women while India wasn’t one.

That's because India believes that being a woman is all about looking like a woman, which in India's genderist world means looking feminine and desirable to men.

To a genderist like India, butch women are not women (because they don't look feminine), lesbians are not women (because they don't care about male desire). India believes that India is more of a woman than them because India attempts to look feminine and desirable. To India its all about appearance, it's a costume, a facade.

Women don't exist as people to someone like India. We only exist as an identity or a costume that men can choose to inhabit.

I hope that barcode doesn't have any private information!

HootyMcBooby76 · 20/07/2023 10:31

A legal fiction is still a fiction India.
Your passport and your hospital wristband prove nothing except that this country is a woke pile of dogshit that hates women.

A letter "F" does not make you a women or a female, it makes you a man with an incorrect passport and an incorrect hospital wristband.
Believe me, the doctors and nurses treating you know what you are.
They don't for one second think you are a woman where it counts (biologically) in a healthcare setting.

India actually hates women, it permeates everything this person says and does, you can feel the palpable hatred seething from every pore of their misogynistic and racist persona. It must be very confusing for India to want to be the very thing that India can never be, and looking at India's little hospital wristband must remind India every time that India looks at it, that India is NOT actually in fact, female.

But India knows that.

What information is being covered by all of that pink red tape on the wrist band?

A full list of sex-specific body parts, indicating their presence or absence?
Not enough room though....

Remember when IW was live on TV and the presenter had to quickly step in and say stop showing your passport details to the viewers.

And now IW posts a sticker with a barcode clearly displayed which, I hope, does not contain medical information, accessible to the whole of the internet!

MavisMcMinty · 20/07/2023 16:41

Imagine having “female” on your inpatient wristband as one of your life’s great achievements. I bet IW kept it on long after IW had left hospital.

It looks a bit worn around the edges doesn’t it. I expect if we could see the other side we would see the sellotape. Or maybe India has stitched on a press stud.
