Ah yes. Those heat-of-the-moment words. “Immediately said she regretted them”. Right away. As soon as… they were in the dock. Instant regret, that. And very very sincere. 🙄

Good grief.

I meant to provide the evidence.

I looked at that picture and muttered 'Fucking idiots" to myself. True story.

ArabeIIaScott · 24/10/2023 15:23

In my day, political prisoners wrote stirring poems and books and stuff and were often bravely speaking out about injustice.

Rather than just criminals shouting 'punch them in the fucking face' at women.

AlphaTransWoman · 24/10/2023 12:56

Yes - exactly that. Clothing, cosmetics, hormone therapy if needed. And being kept safe from male violence. Obviously she can't safely be housed with other women.

Right, god forbid he should run out of lip liner.

It's this new type of political women prisoners, they just have the balls to do things differently!

Has that ever worked for a woman in the dock for stating biological facts that a male person felt offended by? Or indeed photographing a sticker mentioning biological reality that someone else put up?

I mean we've seen the recanting videos and the struggle sessions, but they only go one way, don't they?

Not in this particular case though.

SinnerBoy · 25/10/2023 03:45

Jeez, safe from male violence? When Baker is the one who has committed the most male of violent crimes? Baker is an extremely dangerous person, the other prisoners are in danger from them, not the other way round.

Abhannmor · 25/10/2023 08:22

True , @SinnerBoy . 99% of my male friends would be terrified in close confinement with that psycho. He should be nowhere near women.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 25/10/2023 08:51

HMP Isle of Wight is a male prison at least. Good to have that confirmed, I think there were some rumours that he was in a female one.

No, this one had the balls. You've got your tense wrong.

But we only have sjbs word for the fact they were removed!

SJB is a useful illustration of how someone can be both highly vulnerable and highly dangerous, concurrently.

I think we can agree on that one.

BezMills · 25/10/2023 19:28

Vulnerable mainly to himself, to be fair.

Vulnerable mainly to himself, to be fair.

Well, apart from his victims.

ArabeIIaScott · 25/10/2023 20:33

He's an attempted murderer, as well as a kidnapper/torturer.

Yep, SJB is fragile, like a bomb.

'"I think if people disagree with other people about issues it's much better to have a debate about it then threaten people. By telling the crowd to punch a TERF, she clearly still has anger issues and is a dangerous, violent person.'

Darren knows only too well the level of violence Baker is capable of.
After he was kidnapped Darren was subjected to appalling beatings and forced to carry out humiliating sex acts before being trussed up in a cupboard and left to die.

Recalling harrowing details for the first time he told MailOnline how Baker and her brother showed no remorse after admitting their appalling crimes.

He said: 'I thought I was going to die but in the court case they said that the only thing they regretted about it was that they couldn't break me.'

The brothers were jailed for seven years by a judge who described the ordeal as 'an exercise in sadism and cruelty which may well have led to his death'."

Yeah, you probably should have given him more than 7 years then.

ColinTheGenderMinotaur · 25/10/2023 20:58

It’s a travesty that SJB & friends weren’t also charged with rape for that offence against Mr Sheridan, presume the law hadn’t quite figured out to do with men who force other men into sexual acts at the time of SJB’s arrest.

ColinTheGenderMinotaur · 25/10/2023 21:02

Just looked it up, this crime was committed in 1989 and the sexual violence inflicted on Mr Sheridan wasn’t classified as rape in UK law until 2003.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 25/10/2023 21:04

Yes it was oral rape I think, which only became classed as rape in the Sexual Offences Act 2003.

SinnerBoy · 25/10/2023 21:08

Yes, I mentioned that somewhere else about Baker. He may be vulnerable, but he's an extremely dangerous and violent person, from whom the public deserve protection.
