Just wondering if anyone here has seen this yet and what you think of it

Are we going to see a lot of 'identifies as centrist' men speaking out against uppity women and in favour of trans rights from now on?

I watched it until he used KJK taking the piss that everything these days is transphobic therefore she must be a transphobe as proof she is a transphobe

if you regularly post on this board you will have seen the work other posters do to inform - spending lots of time transcribing videos for other posters so they don’t have to watch it

don’t post this shit which we’ve seen a thousand times before unless you really have a gotcha

not sure what MNHQ have said to other people who reported this thread, but the impression I got was that they think we are all well able to rebut this bollox - let the shit arguments play out for all to see

Come on clothes, give us a couple of pertinent points from the video with a time stamp. Some incontrovertible facts? If you have been a regular on here then you'll know how important it is to provide facts and evidence when you're trying to support an ideology that's doing so much harm to children & women on the basis of "it's what I believe / want you bigot".

So come on, prove us wrong and do what you're demanding other women to. Watch the video and point us in the right direction. Unless of course there's nothing evidential /factual at all 😄

Haven't watched it all, but a couple of points...

The video claims KJK is "transphobic" because (1) she hates trans people, and (2) opposes trans rights.

But being on the claimed "women's rights" side, isn't obviously irrational compared to being on the claimed "trans rights" side. If anything, I would think e.g. wanting to keep males out of women's sports has a clear rational justification.

So therefore it's not really "transphobia" in a meaningful sense without a lot of further argument.

Secondly, KJK is said to be a single issue campaigner that is willing to sacrifice abortion rights. But what I think the facts are here, is that abortion rights aren't under threat in the UK, and anything KJK does will make virtually no difference to US politics on the issue of abortion.

You can accept funding from a group that is anti abortion, and it doesn't mean you have really helped the anti abortion cause. Now if you were funding them, sure, that's more of a case.

I think it's fine to make a strategic decision that some limited cooperation with US conservative groups is likely to result in benefits on issue A, and probably isn't going to make any difference to issue B.

That KJK "shares a platform" with someone, I doubt she has "sacrificed" abortion rights because she really isn't that important to American politics!

I think you may have mistaken 'prepared to stand up for equality of access, sex based rights and child safeguarding' for 'I'm a KJK fangirl'.

This is a characteristic of Not A Cult you see - no hive mind. The capacity to agree on some things, disagree with others. The capacity to function without outsourcing leadership and thinking skills to one person and trailing in their wake shouting mantras without the brain actually engaging.

I greatly respect KJK, she is one of the great women in this time who has done immense amounts for women's rights in this battle to retain them, alongside women like Maya and Alison. I don't agree with everything she says, and I'd bet she wouldn't agree unconditionally with me either, and I still think what she has done for women is amazing. I hugely support her providing a space - at great personal expense of time and risk and investment - to hand a mic to any woman or girl who wants to speak and be heard.

I'm invested in women's rights, and that involves actual diversity and tolerance. Not flapping a flag with KJK on it. And I think she'd tell me in words of one syllable how silly she thought I was being if I did.

And this whole right wing nazi stuff is desperate, it really is. It shows more than anything that KJK IS doing it perfectly right, in that she is causing enough of a threat to the genderist political movement that people will spend their time trying to crowbar doubt in to the minds of women about her. As if should they begin to doubt that KJK is in fact a jackboot wearing nutjob with a secret agenda to take her little tank and build the fourth reich in Basingstoke, they'll shrug and abandon wanting rights and equality.

That isn't going to happen, is it?

Women with little money give it to her because they think they're helping the cause, and she spends it on her mortgage and funding her lifestyle. And you lot are OK with it! It beggars belief. She's basically acting like a dodgy cult leader at this point.

For the love of God, try and drag yourself out of the 1950s and understand that women don't do shit for nothing anymore. However much you dislike that, I'm afraid the world has moved on.
