literally bonkers

Lightningstrikess · 26/06/2023 21:16

According to another thread the ones who act like cats, meow etc are called therians, they believe they are a cat or whatever animal & identify as that.. The furrys are different again..
So teachers are trying to validate & appease trans kids , therian kids & furry kids... The teachers & classemates are supposed to go along with the charade, what is that actually teaching young kids. No wonder the kids are fighting back like those two brave little girls..

This carry on needs to get in the bin.

Does the school day include a walk to the park so the furrie dogs can empty themselves? A litter tray in the corner of the class room?

Worming tablets? Dreamies or Bonios (other treats are available£ on the school dinner menu.

The teachers might be asked not to ridicule them. Good luck in getting the kids to go along with it.

Peak miaow.

If it wasn't so damaging to children, I think the gullible woke teachers deserve to be laughed at as they play Hagrid feeding his pets at the edge of the dark Forrest, introducing his magical creatures to students.

Lightningstrikess · 26/06/2023 21:43

But how do they validate them all.. If you have one girl who thinks she's a boy so identifies as one , another who identifies as a cat & another identifying as a horse... What kind of disruption will that cause the class?

Well that explains why Dreamies was supporting LGBTQIA+. I thought it was empty virtue signalling. Turns out they were trying to get a foot in the door of a new market. 🙄

Babdoc · 26/06/2023 21:45

I can imagine my old teachers’ reaction to this nonsense, and it would have involved half a yard of bamboo cane applied to the “horse’s ” or “cat’s” hindquarters.

Ridiculing other children is always wrong. Doesn't matter if they're the weird kid, it doesn't make bullying ok.

lookingforMolly · 26/06/2023 21:55

When I was at school approx late 80s I do remember two girls in the first year of Middle School (age 9-10) who were so into horses that they would literally canter & gallop round the playground like horses...
Actually no one ripped the piss out of them, I think everyone found them too weird...

I see a lot of school kids around my estate now but none dressed like cats or horses I have to say.

Lightningstrikess · 26/06/2023 21:56

@Flickersy it is also not ok to expect other children to be accomplices in the lie.. The child is not a cat or horse or dinosaur it is a human. Why would anyone want to dehumanise another human being by referring to & treating them as an animal?

This is fluffy - your new classmate, be nice to them or you might end up dead or worse - expelled.

None of that involves ridicule though, does it.

I would say yes it is ridiculing as it is dehumanising a child or person who is obviously not an animal. That is very demoralising to the child.

They are like the cat version of those cheese moment crisp /snack things you used to get.

Filled with cat yum.

whereaw · 26/06/2023 22:04

@Flickersy if they're really a cat I think they'll be fine to be ridiculed as they won't understand what's being said. Cats can't talk. So as long as it's not physical it can't hurt them.

Pudmyboy · 26/06/2023 22:05

@Lightningstrikess Dreamies are cat treats, mini biscuit type things with a filling (chicken, fish cheese, even cat grass). Most cats love them. If you want to know more look on the Litter Tray section of Mumsnet!

You're really trying to justify children bullying each other? Children do dumb shit (like pretend to be animals). That doesn't justify ridicule.

Lightningstrikess · 26/06/2023 22:06

@Pudmyboy they spotted a gap in the market so😉

Also, cats feel superior to absolutely everything so they would never feel ridiculed as they simply know they are the most important thing in the room/ house/universe

Okshacky · 26/06/2023 22:09

Kids pretend to be animals all the time. It’s fine in the playground (where you play) but not in the classroom where you work.
