I have just stickered the Pride poster in my town - see photo! I also put a few on Oxfam's window, but didn't have a chance to take a picture.
Am on a bit of a high😆

Love me a bit of stickering!

terfsintown · 13/06/2023 16:00

It's my first time!

JellySaurus · 13/06/2023 16:17

What are the stickers?

terfsintown · 13/06/2023 17:05

A selection of Posie's

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I can't tell which bits of the poster are your stickers and what they say.

terfsintown · 13/06/2023 19:23

I think I put on the Terf Island one, misogyny and definition of homosexuality.
And I put a let women speak one on Oxfam I think.

I did it in a bit of a rush, while trying to look like I was looking at the river. Of course there were no swans to look at when I needed them 😆

Awesome! Perfect selection.

Well done terfs! Gold star for outstanding stickering ⭐️

terfsintown · 13/06/2023 23:17

I'll have to find an excuse to pop into town tomorrow to see if they are still there!

I slightly manufactured an argument with DH to get him to go home without me so I could sticker in peace - he totally gets the cause but would be horrified at such blatant rule-breaking 😆

Very well done.

Congratulations terfsintown on making women feel a bit more seen and valued today.

Very well done! Star

Surely a sticker defining homosexuality i.e. same-sex attraction, cannot be threatening?

Why on earth would the definition of homosexuality make the gay community feel less safe ffs?

Totally this. And OP is proud of herself. ffs.

Go and speak to gay people on the ground, in the real world. Mumsnet FWR views have no alignment with our community.

Suncreamweather · 14/06/2023 00:10

Well done @terfsintown 🌟
Where did you get the stickers? There's actually no pride posters or flags in my town yet surprisingly, it's usually very "vibrant" in June but not this year..

Yes, because stickers cause serious injury, whereas violence and death threats are just what women deserve if we dare to speak.

The only way it makes the gay community less safe is because they know if they publicly agree with the definition on the sticker the trans activists will respond with abuse, rage or violence.

Admitting such a sticker makes the gay community “less safe” is an acknowledgment that no one can state this out loud.

EmpressaurusOfCats · 14/06/2023 06:16

I’m a lesbian. The Progress Pride / TRA flags are hostile & threatening.

Pro-women, pro-lesbian stickers like these ones always make me feel safer.

Speak to gay people?

I think you’ll find there are a lot of gay people whose views are very much aligned with the views expressed here, indeed there are many gay people who post here and many more who post about it on Twitter.

Lesbians were amongst those who realised soonest what would happen when men were allowed to claim they were women and invade women’s spaces and erode women’s rights.

There is no hive mind of gay people.

Helleofabore · 14/06/2023 08:19

Speak to gay people? I do. And many don’t agree with you suggestions.
