Mask off. And replies off as well.

"If you can, support @tigergirl_70 in her fight for an inclusive rugby game #MakeSportEveronesGame"

That blog is almost parody. It's like someone wrote out a list of tropes and offensive generalisations embraced by trans ideology (and particularly those 3 letters) and then shoehorned them in, from the stealing of underwear, the "uncharitable" stepmother who didn't want her stepson stealing and dressing (and god knows what else) in her underwear, the purchasing of a garter belt and "panties" and the "unfeminine" ex wife who wasn't soft enough.

margegunderson · 16/05/2023 14:20

So he wants to play women's rugby because he likes wearing frilly knickers?

ArabeIIaScott · 16/05/2023 14:21

There certainly seems to be an inordinate focus on underwear.

Can I just say, at the risk of a deletion for stating the truth, isn't this a classic AGP?

On that topic:

Nick Timothy in the Telegraph on the GRR
www.mumsnet.com/Talk/womens_rights/4726257-nick-timothy-in-the-telegraph-on-the-grr

He was Joint Chief of Staff under Theresa May:

www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2023/01/22/britain-becoming-sick-trans-debate-facts-can-cure/

"The legislation is part of a trend in which transgenderism and gender fluidity are normalised and made mainstream in culture. This is the kind of cultural context in which charities like Mermaids and even the NHS through its Tavistock clinic helped young people to make irreversible decisions to change their bodiess_. It is how governing bodies allow female sports to be ruined by trans athletes. It is how the BBC website joyfully writes up stories about children becoming drag queens, and cross-dressing men are invited to read to primary school pupils in schools and libraries.

It is how nobody stops to ask how many such men are moved to act in these ways through their own sexual desire. Autogynephilia, the feeling of sexual arousal some men feel as they pretend to be women, is according to some researchers behind many or even most cases of gender dysphoria among those born as men. It is legitimate to ask whether non-consenting women ought to be participants in such sexual fantasies."

Julie is concerned that transwomen might be at risk of harm or injury if forced to play with males.

Julie is also concerned that transwomen would be 'stigmatised' if they had to share a shower with males.

GailBlancheViola · 16/05/2023 14:31

This meant I was suddenly unable to play the game I have loved my whole life, simply because I am a trans woman

As others have said this statement is utter bollocks, nothing is stopping this individual from playing Rugby they just don't want to play with/against members of their own sex. Having read the blogs from this person it is not the playing of sport that is the driver here it is something else entirely.

SinnerBoy · 16/05/2023 14:31

He knows exactly what he's saying and what the parallels are there. Exactly.

He's a total scumbag. A bully and a thoroughly reprehensible person.

PuttingDownRoots · 16/05/2023 14:33

If this person truly loved Rugby they would happily take up coaching or umpiring. That is what a lot of rugby players in their 50s do.

ImFineThankYouSusan · 16/05/2023 14:33

He shouldn't even be allowed to be coaching young women, let alone play with them.

Gross.

Ohnohedident · 16/05/2023 14:34

'Tigergirl' obviously has a penchant for kicking and screaming at women.

JeanRondeausMadHair · 16/05/2023 14:44

What's the obsession with 'soft underwear'? Was all the mens stuff he had made of hessian or something ?

HathorsFigTree · 16/05/2023 14:46

😂 So true.

CaveMum · 16/05/2023 14:53

The TRA lobby are not exactly falling over themselves to support him based on the funds raised so far total, are they?

Alwaystheweather · 16/05/2023 14:53

That video! It shows Julie absolutely twice the breadth and towering over the women whilst they are together! It shows exactly why Julie should not play with women!

Julie is included within rugby, Julue can continue playing with men. All that is happening is that rugby is not being used as a prop to validate Julies’s internal belief in gender at the expense of women. But the men’s game can still be inclusive of Julie.

Yes, I believe men are, by law, required to wear only heavy duty hemp briefs. And they're not allowed to wash them using fabric conditioner.

My Lord. The lack of self reflection. The open entitlement. The open hypocrisy. The utter narcissism.

How can anyone fail to see this as male entitlement writ large? It’s so open. It’s not even hidden. It’s not even attempting to be hidden.

Oh no,men using men's showers.

Whatever is the world coming to?

Jesus. So after a long period of stealing and wearing his mother's underwear and his sisters' underwear, his mother sent him off to live with his father, where he sexually harassed his stepmother to the extent of making a key to the bedroom she'd locked to keep him out, so he was sent off to boarding school, and naturally he's the victim in this story. And he has the lack of self-awareness to put all this right there on the page like that, albeit cunningly buried in so much windbag pub bore bloviating that I wouldn't have found the relevant quotes that ArabellaScott picked out.

He seems like an absolutely perfect poster "girl" for men in women's rugby and I hope he gets lots and lots of publicity for his lawsuit. Thanks Nancy Kelley!

I note it's mostly female names who have donated to his lawsuit - I hope they aren't women though.

Chersfrozenface · 16/05/2023 15:00

RealityFan · 16/05/2023 14:19

100 people have donated nearly £65 each.

Whatever happened to the cost of living crisis?

We must, of course, keep in mind factors such as the likely demographic of the contributors and the pay gap between the sexes.

GailBlancheViola · 16/05/2023 15:07

Sport is one of the exemptions under the treat as a woman for all purposes crap isn't it?

It needs to be made explicitly clear now that TW are not banned from playing sport, their human rights are not being impacted, they are perfectly eligible to play sport with members of their own biological sex, this is not discrimination.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 16/05/2023 15:11

My wife hates wearing standard cotton hi-cuts and loves thongs and silky lacy underwear. Conversely, my ex-wife, loves the cotton hi-cuts and hates thongs, g-strings and lacy underwear. Go figure! My wife likes lace blouses, skirts and high heels, my ex tee-shirts, pants and flat shoes. I do suspect my ex is somewhat orientated to the lesbian side of the fence :-)!'

What a very surprising attitude for this person to have.

ArabeIIaScott · 16/05/2023 11:26

Comment from the Crowd Justice page:

'[T]here are other ways to segregate sport to keep it fair. In boxing, for example, they do it by weight. Where's the fairness in requiring a 5'1" 8-stone man to play rugby against a man the size of Alun Wyn Davies or Martin Griffiths?'

Has 'Jane' actually seen Julie Curtiss, at all?!

Also, in boxing, they do it by weight and sex. If they just used weight by itself it would be a massacre of women.

GailBlancheViola · 16/05/2023 15:16

Someone called Jill who donated posted this comment:

I am fighting the same fight with England Boxing and I wholeheartedly support you. Stay strong.

Massacre of women is the end goal.

megletthesecond · 16/05/2023 15:21

I'd rather he played rugby with actual tigers.

KalimbaMoon · 16/05/2023 15:28

To paraphrase Tiger: My ex-wife wasn’t very feminine - she liked boring underwear, trousers and flat shoes, she must have been a bit of a lesbian.

Whaaat? Rather judgemental, eh Tiger? Are you the fashion police? You can’t define a woman’s sexuality by whether or not she wears soft frilly “panties”.
