You seem to be mistaking disagreement or challenge to your opinions with ‘repercussions’ (like having you car vandalised and your children threatened).

No one will harm you. But people may disagree and challenge you. That’s totally fine and is not harmful. It’s debate and discussion.

This idea that challenge and debate is (literal!) harm is enormously problematic. Even more so when the person on the thread keen on promoting that is making excuses for harmful behaviour and people actually threatening harm to a woman and her family.

The Marsh stuff has been there for years, it has always been creepy and inappropriate. So many of us have been commenting on his videos for a very long time. Since accounts with large follower numbers started challenging his video content he removed a lot of them and changed his Patreon. Now there is active targeting of one person who has 'exposed' him - she's a muslim women i.e. someone they think will be an easy target - and are trying to start all sorts of rumours about HER being a groomer and inappropriate. It's disgusting but 100% predictable. This rabid TRAs think they are beyond reproach and its a bloody dangerous game.

No, it's correctly perceiving a creepy groomer for what he is.

Victim blaming would be if someone called him out for being a creepy groomer and was victimised for that, then you said it was her own fault for calling him out in the first place.

I saw the video where he described his Patreon and it was aimed at kids. So they could talk to him privately. It was only subsequently that he made it 18+

All of the content in the JM video she stitched was his own words. The meaning of his own words was not changed, she just highlighted one particular aspect. It was a true representation of things he has said.

She did not mention ‘all trans people’ at any point, she was highlighting his extremely concerning behaviour. I’m not sure why you are so focused on criticising the messenger rather than the man trying to convince kids to contact him in private. Do you not understand what a serious safeguarding red flag that is?

Surely the trans activist community should be at the forefront of challenging grooming behaviour like this. Instead they are defending him and making excuses for/justifying the behaviour.

if you have a problem with people confusing your community with sexual predators, then you do not set out to justify behaviour like Marsh’s and villainise anyone who criticises it. That isn’t going to help external people to understand that there’s no inherent relationship between creepy predators and trans people. It’s telling them clearly that you think it’s fine for an influential trans person to encourage children to speak to an adult stranger on the internet more privately.

The behaviour is not ok. It is really worrying that TRAs can’t recognise that and aren’t willing to challenge Marsh themselves.

It's a video using clips of Marsh's own words. I don't think she referred to his trans status once. As far as I can see his trans status is completely irrelevant here.

1. Marsh set up a Patreon with no age restrictions.
2. Marsh made at least one video clearly targeted as ‘for kids’ encouraging them to join the Patreon and talk to Marsh more privately than the comments on public video sharing sites.
3. People noticed and criticised this online.
4. Marsh changed the settings on his Patreon and rebranded it as 18+.
5. Marsh then tried to gaslight the world into believing that the Patreon was always adults only and video marked ‘to kids’ encouraging them to use it were not targeted at children.

And here you are reinforcing the final step as of steps 1-4 don’t matter.
