It's funny, I'd presumed Jeffrey would have a background in psychotherapy, psychology, something like that. They present theyself as if they is a therapist. But no:
'Marsh attended college at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and earned a BFA in Musical Theater, later moving to New York City to pursue a career in cabaret performance[1] before becoming an internet celebrity[2] and leader in the LGBTIQ community.[3]'
This would explain the egregious ignorance of boundaries, safeguarding and appropriate behaviour wrt 'counselling' strangers on the internet.
They present as a 'coach', which fair enough requires no qualifications as it's a pretty meaningless term.

'MEET THE COACH:
Jeffrey has studied and taught Zen for over twenty years. Their rigorous training while living as a monk at a Buddhist Monastery in California (as chronicled in ‘How To Be You’) resulted in Jeffrey receiving the status of Precepted Facilitator in the Soto Zen tradition of Buddhism. The rank of Precepted Facilitator is an elite category and marks a Zen practitioner trained to assist anyone toward spiritual growth.'
The use of a 'Buddhist' identity as some kind of qualification to coach is interesting.
The 'rank' of precepted facilitator is, as far as I know, also meaningless. Zen practitioners generally give their lineage, school, affiliations when discussing these type of things, and certainly if presenting themselves as teachers. Jeffrey doesn't.
It would be interesting to see which school of Soto Zen they is with, and what that school think about Jeffrey being a 'Facilitator' as an 'elite category'.
('Precepted' I can only surmise means he's taken his precept vows. This means you've gone through a sort of commitment ceremony where you promise to follow the zen path. It's generally a pretty early step on the path, certainly doesn't qualify anyone to teach according to most reputable schools.)

There's a list of teachers there, which gives a good idea of how they usually present their qualifications/experience. See how they list schools, teachers, history, affiliations?
