This is linked to the whole Zeitgeist about "no kink-shaming" and the kinds of masks people can wear and be protected from the scrutiny we always should engage in when children or non-consenting adults are encouraged to participate in something that just might be a problem. We are told to silence that inner alarm system most women and girls develop early in life.

It's interesting because when all the Jeffrey Marsh stitches started appearing on my FYP recently, I went to have a look at his videos...only to discover that I'd previously blocked him so his videos wouldn't show up in my feed.

I rarely block anybody, only if I find them so awful that I don't want to see them even for a split second before I can scroll.

The really really disturbing thing JM does in JM's videos is when he looks deeply into the camera, saying nothing, sighing, getting emotional and then says something like "I see you" or "I understand you" or "We are family". Trying to connect in that way through digital social media is so WEIRD.

I’ve just had a look on the website, there’s a disclaimer referencing that Jeffrey is not a therapist, psychotherapist etc.

Apparently he has gained the status of Zen master with Buddhist monks.

So he is apparently free to spout this bile, and people have the honour of actually paying for his dangerous, non regulated “wisdom” at the cost of $99 for a very short 20 minute session.

He is very popular as a speaker in the US. Although this is balanced with a lot of criticism.

His pupils seem to be permanent pin pricks. If he didn't have the glitter schtick, I'd assume opioid use.

He also seems like a shell. What he says isn't reinforced by his demeanour, and when he tries to reinforce his words, it's all off, like a Thunderbirds puppet.

There's no way he's a Zen master. Zen masters are oceans.

He reminds me of a particularly piss poor drama student. It's all an act which amounts to nothing more than grifting and grooming.
