I keep thinking about the 'cancellation' because I drive past a primary school pretty much every day. After Christmas, without fail, there kids wearing new Hogwarts scarves.

The people who are 'cancelling' are not the target audience. They aren't the parents, they aren't the kids. And I very much doubt Stacey is going to become a dad any time soon.

Also heard a lot of people are planning to buy the game second-hand because they think that JKR will not benefit from any royalties whilst they still get the benefit of the playing the game.

I thought the programme was a disgrace and Evan Davies did not challenge the very biased speakers at all. I'm going to complain.

As I wrote above, they've fucked up and it's clear that Davis knows this and will be trying to get ahead of the justified audience response to try to blunt it. But to claim that the programme didn't cast it in a way that would lead to JKR being slandered is hard to believe. A brief google of Stacey Henley makes clear what you're going to get. So this means either they were negligent in seeking balance or they're lying now because they're aware how much they've fucked up.
