Jenny Jones of the Green party has tweeted:

"In 2015 I signed a letter calling for trans women to be housed in the female estate. But that does not include male sexual predators who falsely self ID to insert themselves into a space with vulnerable women."

Their entire argument now relies on:

'true' trans - therefore they now will have to completely pivot from the 'if they say they are trans, they are trans'.

Which puts an end to any use of 'believe people are who they say they are'.

OR that 'of course they never supported a RAPIST being put into a female prison or in the general prison population' - without knowing the prison system and just who and when people can be segregated AND without acknowledging that transitioned males STILL RAPE WOMEN!!!

And I'm so glad that women being locked in with rapists IS an issue that the public get exercised about. I was very pissed off that sports seemed to be the only bit that worked.

Maybe people flat didn't believe it would happen till they saw a live example?

How thick do you have to be to sign an open letter on a contentious topic like putting men in women's prisons (7 years ago), and not have even got a position in 2023 on how you tell which ones are TrueTrans and which are chancers?

I'm not accepting even that. But making that compulsory would shut up a lot of them who are very attached to that bit of them. Which is nearly all of them percentage wise.

I’m also sick of this ’True trans’ bullshit. There is nothing stopping a male who has genuine feelings gender dysphoria from being a misogynist, a rapist, an abuser, a paedophile, having AGP or offending, behaving or thinking like any other male.

There cannot be 'true trans' if there is no way to define it past 'who ever feels they are'.

I don't accept any of the reverse ferrets we are seeing. All these things about safety of women, impact on crime stats, impact on safeguarding etc were all said at the time. The response at the time from those championing self-ID went:

REPORT YOU TO YOUR EMPLOYER
BE KIND
ACCEPTANCE WITHOUT EXCEPTION

I remember it well and we all have the evidence of all of this. So no I don't accept any of these sudden and conveniently timed epiphanies. And I never will.

Me too. "We're not worried about real trans women, just the predatory men who would self-identify in order to gain access to vulnerable women." No, sorry, there are loads of men who genuinely believe they are/are desperate to be women and a lot of them are still scary fuckers with some really violent sexual predilections and a refusal to accept boundaries. It's all there on the Internet, in their own words, for everyone to see.
