India Willoughby: I am more of a woman than JK Rowling will ever be

India has stated this on Twitter.

Doesn't it tell us a lot about how genderism rests on social stereotypes? How is India 'more of a woman' than someone born female?

“Classy”

…I can’t even be arsed. It’s like shooting pigs in a barrel.

Well that's not sexist at all ...

Does anyone else feels increasingly annoyed at the word "kind" ?

Excellent description of JKR though

BruceAndNosh · 25/01/2023 06:59

They would be wrong but I could just about understand IW insisting they are "just as much of a woman as JKR" but I'm wondering what are their attributes which make them "more"?

Who needs sparkling female bits when you can keep it really really real?

Zebedee hasn't aged well.

🤣

Workerbeep · 25/01/2023 07:03

@BruceAndNosh
His prostrate?

Notaflippinclue · 25/01/2023 07:24

Bigger feet

SinnerBoy · 25/01/2023 07:30

Size 11 hands?

They aren't scared. They want to be validatedd which is why they use the women's. So now we get to be actually scared but they get to be validated. Yay men!

Yep, it's the very first strategy in any abusive/controlling person's MO: reverse the victim and offender and claim that they feel threatened by their victim as a direct result of their own deliberate actions. Feigning weakness can be a very effective way of gaining validated 'strength'.

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 25/01/2023 10:39

That 'What is a woman?' thing is just ridiculous. I've known a lot of men that would describe and plenty of women that that it wouldn't.

You might as well confidently assert "What is a dog? It's something with four legs" - meaning that any animal with four legs, as well as tables, chairs, oil rigs, certain sporting tournaments etc. MUST thus be 'dogs'; whilst an actual canine animal known as Rover that has had to have one of its legs amputated is therefore NOT a dog.

Quite so. It's not a description written by someone who sees women as real, individual people.

How odd, my comment was allowed to stand for a couple of days and was then deleted.

They must have missed that one, or got bored and re-read the thread again for further infractions.

It seems we REALLY are not permitted to discuss anything you would find in a 1st year biology textbook.

Scratch that, in a nursery book.

(although looking at the books teachers are trying to push nowadays, maybe I'm not so sure?)

I’ve just worked out why India is more than a woman than JKR

India bought a cervix, has repeatedly said will show it. Maybe India bought 2/3 or even a cervix for every day of the week?

The sum. of the parts….?

The possibilities are endless - a pastel decorated one for Easter, a tinsel-wrapped one for Christmas, a lightweight one for summer. Maybe a couple of new ones a year depending on the new catwalk trends…

Boiledbeetle · 25/01/2023 13:01

A microwavable lavender filled heat one did those cold days and period pains

PortiasBiscuit · 25/01/2023 15:55

My cervix has been nothing but trouble for years.. wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.

I no longer have a cervix so I’m less a woman?

Surgeon never even offered me a replacement, warranty must have been expired.

IcakethereforeIam · 25/01/2023 16:55

That first lot look like they'd be useful for place name holders at dinner parties.

Or napkin rings

Or napkin rings

On second checking they don't look like you could pass something through them though so maybe just have the napkin squished in like they do in wine glasses

VaddaABeetch · 25/01/2023 17:29

I was looking for something more, I don’t know more womanly? Should I contact India& ask the suppliers name?
