India Willoughby: I am more of a woman than JK Rowling will ever be

India has stated this on Twitter.

Doesn't it tell us a lot about how genderism rests on social stereotypes? How is India 'more of a woman' than someone born female?

In your dreams India.

BlueKaftan · 23/01/2023 12:55

She’s not. She’s just saying stupid stuff to try to engage JKR.

FrancescaContini · 23/01/2023 12:57

Oh dear.

Hilarious. Further proof that this is a movement based on delusion.

RoseslnTheHospital · 23/01/2023 12:58

This person just says whatever will get them the most attention, and to try to insert themselves in current active twitter conversations. They are absolutely best left ignored, any discussion about the content of what they've said feeds into the behaviour.

Lynne Featherstone replying in the affirmative. I knew she was awful on this issue and has been horrible to Nimco Ali but seriously?!

Even if you just think about stereotypes, how would India be more female? JKR often wears dresses, makeup and conforms to typical standards of beauty.

Supersimkin2 · 23/01/2023 12:59

MRA being goady. Plus ca change.

Maybe there’s a points system?

Earrings - one point
Nail varnish - one point
Plunging neckline - one point

etc

Women with no points would be “less of a woman”. I guess.

Ohnohedident · 23/01/2023 13:01

That angry man energy, it just screams 'Woman'.

Literally.

How would he know?

Lyn Featherbrain.

Hahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahaha......

Beowulfa · 23/01/2023 13:03

If I moved to a remote, uninhabited Hebridean island with just the wind and seagulls for company for the rest of my life, I'd still be a woman. I'd wake up every day, just like I do in London, being a woman whether I want it or not.

If a transwoman moved to such an island (no paperwork, no hormones, no make-up, no email signatures, no external validation) in what way would they wake up every day a woman?

LavenderHillMob · 23/01/2023 13:04

Okay. So interesting when an MRA tries to define women isn't it?

corlan · 23/01/2023 13:07

Maybe India judges 'womanhood' on how good you look in your 50s wearing the gold bikini India wore on Big Brother?

NotTerfNorCis · 23/01/2023 13:12

Every adult female is just as much a woman as any other adult human female, no matter how she behaves or dresses, or whether or not she has kids.

The only criteria are: adult, human, female.

India has purchased a cervix & will show it any day now so of course India is more womanly than a natural woman. Besides it’s because India says so & you’re all just jealous.

Cuppasoupmonster · 23/01/2023 13:16

Haha it’s so ridiculous we don’t even need to dignify it with an answer

PS I’m more of a penguin than Pingu could ever be

uhOhOP · 23/01/2023 13:17

This is a bit like a video clip I saw of a trans woman who said that trans women's "vaginas" are superior to women's vaginas because theirs have been paid for and are basically designer. I don't understand why these people say such things.

EarthlyNightshade · 23/01/2023 13:18

What does she think JKR is then? A man? A non-binary person?

Insulting a woman by saying they are less of a woman than someone else makes no sense. But I guess it's not meant to make sense.

Rainbowshit · 23/01/2023 13:19

No woman points for me today. I'm not wearing make up but am wearing jeans, a checked shirt and one of DH's jumpers.

Still an Adult Human Female though.

Either you're a woman or you're not. JKR is, IW is not. What could be simpler than that?

Come back and try to persuade me otherwise when the boffins have found a way to change chromosomes.

GnomeDePlume · 23/01/2023 13:24

Like my handbag my cervix is pur
