Win win, no more expensive treatment for the person being killed. Less or no more treatment for the recipient. Human remains can be valuable. There was that case in the states a few years ago. A funeral home and/or hospital ransacking corpses for anything saleable. I think a British broadcaster fell victim, the guy did something called 'Letters from America'.
Of course, there's no suggestion that any of the parties administering MAID are doing anything like that.
