Gave me a laugh over my coffee anyway 😆 does he remind anyone else of arguments with their little brother? ‘You’re going to lose. Why are you hitting yourself’ etc 😂

Interesting he has never ever once engaged with any of the thousands of points as to why gender ideology is indefensible at best and harmful at worst, it’s always just ‘You’re going to lose… tiny minority… section 28’

I think he hopped aboard the trans ship without too much thought because it was ‘LGBTQIA’ and he assumes minority = vulnerable and right in every situation. I think on a level he knows gender ideology is a pile of poo, hence not addressing any of the core arguments. But it’s too late to row back to shore now.

I have been thinking about what you say here that “on a level he knows gender ideology is a pile of poo”.

I wondered, if that’s true - how could he be bothered to spout all that seemingly impassioned shite about it?

Then I thought a bit about how he seems to be trying to copy KJK - her style, but how her rants are so different. When KJK rants, every sentence lands and packs a punch, whereas none of OJs do. I think the reason for that is because KJK is focused and poised on telling the truth, without inhibition, so she is in the zone - the flow state.

Which makes me realise that you are right, he does know it’s a pile of poo, that’s why his words have no weight, no matter how much he gurns and grimaces and postures.

Which begs the question, why does he do it?

The only reason I can think of, is that it is a bit of theatre and he likes debating for its own sake, or that has a vain desire to come across as someone with an important opinion and come across as a hero, defending the underdog.

Its vanity and self-indulgence.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 19/01/2023 15:28

What an amazing coincidence as I've got a special message for him too. Unfortunately, I can't post it here.

Haha me too Grin

spend their whole lives obsessed by trans people

I don’t actually believe in ‘trans’ people. I just see it as a turn of phrase. There are men, there are women, there are men who want to be (what they imagine it is to be) women and there are women who want to be (what they imagine it is to be) men. Still only men and women though.

I’ll hold my hands up and say that a great deal of my thought and time is taken up trying to push back against ideas I do not believe in and which have no evidence base, but that are being taken on and coercively pushed upon me and my family through the media, law, schools and education, HR, etc, etc. I really could do without it.

This Peter Pan fool hasn’t got the maturity to grasp it.

This. I just don't give the concept of "trans" any credence. They are another type of male.

ArabellaScott · 19/01/2023 15:35

But. I don't have a soul, Owen.

nilsmousehammer · 19/01/2023 15:36

if that’s true - how could he be bothered to spout all that seemingly impassioned shite about it?

I find it helpful to keep reminding myself, the TQ+ political lobby does not speak for all TQ+ people - anyone who's been on FWR long enough has seen first hand how viciously a political activist speaks to a TQ+ person who dares to differ with the political messaging or dares to say 'that's not my lived experience'. It's even worse than the way they treat women.

And a lot of the political lobby are not themselves TQ+. Like LoJ.

Which demonstrates how very useful this agenda has been to express all kinds of things you ordinarily wouldn't be able to vent without looking like a deranged and unpleasant neanderthal, but under this agenda can unleash and still claim to be a Gooder Person Than Them. Misogyny for example. MRAism. Homophobia. Racism. (All this is frequently front and centre). The kind of behaviours that Authoritarian Follower personalities adore: getting to pillory and punish and be the righteous. The whole snob keeping up with the Jones thing a la Hyacinth Bucket, using social virtue signalling instead of big cars and posh parties. The human love of being in the big gang with a them and an us where We're Better Than You, and of quite liking bullying and inappropriate behaviour. Etc etc.

AlwaysLeftie · 19/01/2023 15:39

Anyone else see parallels between LOJ's twitter rant, and Lloyd Russell Moyle's rant in the HOC earlier in the week? So much anger...

Commentators are always saying about the need to 'take the heat' out of the debate. I hear and feel a lot of anger coming from men, not women. I hear concern and clarity from women.

On another note, it looked like LOJ was reading out part of his diatribe (he was looking down and to the side quite a bit). I was tempted to ask on Twitter if he was being held hostage. It was a bit odd, and unlike his usual presentation style.

Given he was criticised by the TRA lobby recently, do you think he's having to up his TRA game to get back in their good books? He might be running scared, cos he's certainly burned a lot of bridges with his unquestioning acceptance of TRA ideology.

Women see him for exactly who he is.

I really think he nailed his colours to the mast early on and now cannot budge from them. A lot of people, when first hearing about ‘transgender’, just think ‘sure, why not, be kind, live and let live’ because they don’t realise the impact of it upon women or law. Now irrefutable arguments have been made as to why it’s a bad idea to give ‘transgender’ any kind of legal status, he can’t go back - he relies on his pro trans following for his livelihood and position, plus he would look an utter twat. I see his ranting as trying to defend his own position rather than trans people.

this.

When you know you are right, and your arguments are right, yes, the words flow easier.

And there isn't anyone, anywhere, who actually puts forward an argument as to why women must lose out here. It's only ever because you should step aside, luv.

Look what happens when people are in a situation where they actually have to defend TWAW on TV or radio, they end up looking like complete twats. Lammy, Harrop, Chapman, Willoughby, Starmer. There is no argument why women have to step aside for something that's patently not true.

There's no way OJ would put himself in that position. otherwise, given his passion, and lack of money, he would be on TV and radio defending TWAW left, right and centre.

You don't see Maya, Helen, Kellie, shying away from scrutiny, do you?

Ereshkigalangcleg · 19/01/2023 15:44

I love that our sole contribution in life when we're old will have been to make life harder for trans people, apparently. Because that's not saying the world revolves around them or anything Grin he thinks women ate two dimensional characters, not like the real people.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 19/01/2023 15:45

The fawning in the YouTube comments is quite something though. These people and their manufactured oppression.

Exactly. He knows he can't so he rants to the converted from his YouTube pulpit. I wish the TRAs would put pressure on him to, but I suspect they know that it rarely goes well for them.

Winterborne74 · 19/01/2023 15:51

Real contempt for women on display, and reminds me strangely of Jeffrey "You WILL respect us" Marsh. Jones doesn't want to understand - he only wants to punish. Unpleasant.

That’s a really good point I have never once seen him engage in live debate about this with even the most inoffensive yet respected GC women - like Maya or Helen. Not once. Yet it’s his main ‘passion’. How bizarre…

beastlyslumber · 19/01/2023 16:02

He's not that bright, is he?

He thinks saying, "you're going to lose all your rights" to women is going to have any effect other than making us find him even more contemptible than we already do? What a joke he is.

Listen, LOJ, to the words of our lovely KJK: "I never lose." We aren't going to lose our rights and our children's rights no matter what crap you come out with.

Cuppasoupmonster · 19/01/2023 16:03

And he can’t wang on about ‘not wanting to engage the phobes and give them attention’ because he has been quite happy to debate other contentious issues with people he fundamentally disagrees with.

OP posts:
ArabellaScott · 19/01/2023 16:05

Rousing, galvanising speeches aren't ever about attacking other people and trying to make them feel bad. 'We will fight them on the beaches' was about the courage and indomnitable spirit of the Brits, not how rubbish the Germans were. 'I have a dream' was about a beautiful, positive vision of harmony, not about 'burning' your enemy.

'You're going to lose and everyone hates you' just isn't terribly inspiring for the Right Side of History.

He's just a raging, resentful wee boy, lashing out because he knows he's losing.

He wants a child though.

He will need a woman for that.........

OJ can identity as a woman and then have his own baby, simple. I can’t see a flaw in that at all. Because TWAW.

He won't engage with anyone who dissents in even the mildest way, about anything he says. He's got millions blocked on Twatter. He certainly won't engage on this, as he knows he'd be comprehensively humiliated.

Wee OJ sounds like a fire and brimstone preacher, railing against non believers for rejecting Jesus. It reminds me of this rather unpleasant Evangelical woman I knew who was so angry at me for not giving god a chance, that she said she looked forward to the day when she could watch me burning in hell (she believed there would be viewing stations in heaven!) He's so gleefully looking forward to the holy day when we are all wailing and gnashing our teeth because the trans side has 'won'. (And...how can they possibly win? They want to be, to actually BE, women. This is impossible.)

Just look at his language...vindication, absolution. Our 'souls' are tainted, and we will forever regret being sinners. It's batshit.
