Article in Unherd by Mary Harrington about 'transmaxxing', a phenomenon in which young men transition because they can, not because they have dysphoria but in some vague hope of having sex with sympathetic women.

It's reminded me of Ollie London, who assumed that just because you can do something (in his case have surgery to make him look Korean) it's okay. No ideological awareness, no ethics, just a why not? kind of attitude.

The thing is the transmaxxing crowd actually make more sense than most - their reasons may be based on errors (eg "reversing hair loss"), but at least there's reasoning.

And who's more sane - the people who apparently know they're making a preposterous claim, or the people who apparently don't?

So if I understand correctly, this 'manifesto' is just a little joke but Dylan Mulvaney, big fake boob teacher and Karen White are all genuine transwomen who are in no way taking the piss out of women's dignity, common sense, tolerance or safety?

And apparently the transmaxxer who came and earnestly explained their beliefs to us a couple of years ago, was non-existent!

The fact that that person used the same tone of post as ELO in the way they treated females who disagreed with them is interesting. But unsurprising as it is a tone we see frequently. Even down to the ageism. What always surprises me is that the type of poster who resorts to that style of interaction fully believes their sex is undetectable.

Some of them also tell us on repeat that their female friends have never been fully supportive of them using the female toilets etc. Those posters cannot conceive that a female friend would ever cover up any discomfort and tell that male what they want to hear.

At least, transmaxxing seems more honest. They don’t try to hide their attitude towards the female half of the population. They are up front about their use of us.

The end result is still the same though and a clear result of a type of male socialisation.

He realised he screwed up by trying to deny the existence of a group of trans people when we all know the party line is supposed to be acceptance without exception.

I’m sure this won’t be counted as “valid” evidence that transmaxxers exist, but I found a podcast series which is about incels, and there’s an episode with an incel-turned-transwoman entitled “TRANSmaxxing with Nixie.”

I’ve listened to some of it and am finding it really interesting. Nixie (the transwoman) has some interesting reflections on incel culture and mindset. They do think that being trans is a part of their brain though, so I’m not sure that it fits the extreme idea of transitioning just to get the perceived benefits of being female. But I’m only a little way into the podcast. May keep listening and post updates if anyone’s interested.

So my question is, what are the hallmarks of TRUE trans people ELO?
There MUST be some objective measurements then, because you have decided unilaterally that THIS particular group of people are NOT "true" trans or that it is some sort of colossal joke on their part.

So, what are the standards by which we can tell genuine "transness" from those with a "joke manifesto"?
And how are women supposed to know them?

Dylan seems to have just gone for facial feminisation surgery, so surely even though he has ripped the piss out of women for months, he seems to be quite dedicated to his grift, no? Is "they" a real trans person? Because virtually all of the misogynistic shite he spouts could easily be seen as a piss take on women and yet it is apparently true.

The thing that amuses me about the ageism, is that the one thing that's guaranteed to happen to all the 'youngsters', is time.

Men don't appreciate that time is why so many women become gender critical, or even feminist. Among other things, childbirth and raising children are experiences that sexism just plops all over. And the longer you're around it, the more it will impact you.

Many young women don't get it either, of course. But they're gonna.

The number of times I have seen 'today I cried' as evidence of being a woman is really concerning.

Maybe ELO can clarify why this is commonly being posted? And sure, hormones will be mentioned, but seriously, do males honestly think that mature females cannot control their emotions and that we hold up crying jags as a sign of femininity?
