I honestly thought the Scottish Parliament would put restrictions on sex offenders being able to obtain GRCs rather than making it easier for them. Am devastated our MSPs care so little for women and children.

With some trepidation I mentioned this in a group. The majority were prepared to sign and thanked me for bringing it to their attention as they weren't aware of it. Not pissed off, just understand the concern. I'm sure they'll get more pissed off the more they consider it, now they're aware.

Stating the obvious, Arabella, but you do realise that when you say things like 'repeal the GRA' and threaten rights under article 8, you make it very easy for trans people to just point and say "these people are literally lobbying to remove our rights"?

Same with those who want to get rid of 'gender reassignment' in the EA - you're literally saying "I want to remove the long-held rights of a minority" and evidencing it for them.

However many likes and retweets you can muster on Twitter, in actual reality, this is not a winning strategy. One person I know has listed an absolute ton of times when gender critical activists have stated these exact things and it looks absolutely terrible.

So what? We've heard you all say how awful, terrible, and appalling we all are, for politely suggesting that women have rights protected in law.

Frankly, nobody cares about your empty threats anymore.

Bad law can be reviewed, and where necessary, repealed.

Nobody is saying anything wrong by suggesting that a law is badly worded and needs to be reviewed.

It is absurd that a group of people successfully lobbied to falsify their identity documents - including their birth certificate. Of course this lapse in good sense should be repealed.
