The WI is concerned that numbers are falling and fewer and fewer women are signing up. It doesn't seem to have occurred to them that women aren't keen on so-called women's organisations that accept men. Quick, easy and loads of room to say what you want.

It's not as if any of you would have joined anyway. So their trans position has nothing at all to do with you not joining, making the whole questionnaire entirely useless.

Actually, I used to be a member, and loved it. However when it became apparent that it was a mixed sex organisation I didn’t renew my membership and won’t do so until they make it women only. It’s kind of their USP!

I think that you clearly have your own prejudices to deal with. I have been interested in what the WI do and seeking them out.

But you do you.

I did the same: checked the box expecting to be asked for contact details, and nothing. It's been designed by someone who didn't know what they were doing.
