"Sturgeon’s speech, due to be delivered about halfway through the event, is expected to last be about 20 minutes. is due to deliver the main speech, which is due to last 20 minutes, around half way through the event.

The decision might have been made to “save the blushes of the first minister”, suggested Marion Calder, director of For Women Scotland.

She praised Zero Tolerance’s work but said: “Thirty years on, Scottish women must be wondering what has happened to this organisation.”"

Why is she so committed to this though? I understand now she can’t back down as she’d lose face etc but why go down this route to begin with? She can’t claim ignorance because even the most captured know the truth really.
Do the SNP really need the votes of Green MSPs? Is it all posturing and for woke points to prove she’s different (and that Scotland) is different from the government in London? Or is it something else?
I just don’t get what the motivation is.

Theresa May started off down the same route but hit a roadblock when the issue started attracting scrutiny. NS's fiefdom is under firmer control and she's just doubled down. And, yes, doing the opposite of Westminster has great appeal to her as well of, course.

Regardless of the truth, (or not), of the sapphic rumours, the bit about funds being unaccounted for is true. The Private Eye regularly brings that up.

Well as a pro union Scot, that’s the only good thing that could come out of this. She’s botched so much she needs to start focusing on the big stuff. The census debacle is now coming out -the costs involved. She makes me embarrassed to be Scottish.

In my experience, a male changing gender does not make any difference to whether or not that male is an offending risk against females.

Well, FM, here is the problem - AGAIN: when men are allowed in women's spaces it is 100% impossible to say "this is the ladies" because, hang on to your hat, there is no requirement to undergo any surgery (I'm fine with that, it's a big step), or to make any attempt to look like a woman (whatever that is) including not shaving off a beard, wearing men's suits (also fine to me) and so on. So how the fuck are we supposed to know?

And that's without actual rapes and attacks that have actually happened.
