This is more of the same issue of people, politicians especially, pretending that they absolutely can talk about women and girls, their safety and protection from the violence of men, and homophobia, sexism and misogyny, because we all understand what those words mean. They understand what they mean, and they know that we know what they mean.

But, because an occasion will arise where we have to pretend we don't know what any of it means in order to service men, none of us can actually acknowledge it in public.

Does anyone know why Sturgeon is so anti single sex spaces, why she cant see that some men will abuse her new law? Is she a misogynist or is she being funded by people who want the new law - and who are they?

I don’t see how they can enforce “not asking politically embarrassing questions I can’t answer”. She’s just relying on women’s socialisation.

While this is true and the Scottish Greens are irredeemably batshit, the SNP has its own layer of fanatics, and that is Sturgeon’s power base within the party.

Where is the place for the conversation? Who is allowed to have it? What is the point of this gathering if they are not allowed to discuss relevant issues?

When you refuse to discuss or even hear a valid point pertaining to your own belief, you know deep down you are wrong.
