In my experience, a male changing gender does not make any difference to whether or not that male is an offending risk against females.

Changing gender however provides additional experiences to harass, intimidate and offend should the male be one of those who does.

And whether or not they are an offender, that male will by their presence in a female space, cause fear, intimidation, distress and active exclusion of females.

Excluding females from anything to provide males with the benefit of choice of everything is not acceptable . Ever. Subordinating females as a sex class to males is not acceptable . Ever.

I agree, nils. However, I do think that this tiny little chink in the narrative, an acknowledgement that bad apples are possible, is important. I doubt Sturgeon will ever come round to seeing sense; for whatever reason, she's made her bed on this issue.
