Have the Charity Commission started investigating? I wonder what they've found?

Whereareyourshoes · 25/11/2022 18:05

Interesting to see who steps into interim role.

Talk about a poisoned chalice!

SirSamVimesCityWatch · 25/11/2022 18:09

What happens re. Susie Green's liability for anything the charity commission uncovers opens their fucking eyes to see what's in front of them if she is no longer CEO?

littlbrowndog · 25/11/2022 18:10

Jeez damming statement from them.

GrettaGreen · 25/11/2022 18:12

As a charity, is it not the trustees that are liable rather than the CEO?

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 25/11/2022 18:12

Interesting. Quite the non-statement!

I wonder if there have been too many issues building up safeguarding, Cass, binders, LGBA case etc.

ExiledElsie · 25/11/2022 18:13

I’d love to know what’s gone on - if it was planned they’d have named her successor

Yep, to not even have an acting CEO lined up suggests a sudden decision.

Who would want that job? Poisoned chalice if ever there was one.

ArabellaScott · 25/11/2022 18:16

Woah.

BloodAndFire · 25/11/2022 18:17

They've kicked her out. Thus stupidly probably made themselves liable for all the upcoming lawsuits while she skips off.

JellySaurus · 25/11/2022 18:18

GrrrrAReform · 25/11/2022 18:01

Do you think they'll have a leaving do?

That statement identifies as a leaving do.

Floisme · 25/11/2022 18:18

I imagine a CEO would normally be expected to serve 3 months notice?

Bwahahahaaaa

StillWeRise · 25/11/2022 18:21

I don't suppose we have a mole in their offices do we 😆

Wonder if she’s been head hunted.
Surely an asset to any company.
😂😂😂

Dreikanter · 25/11/2022 18:23

That reads like one of those job references that will only confirm dates of employment.

PrinceYakimov · 25/11/2022 18:24

I imagine that since finding they had a trustee with paedophile links among their ranks, they have been reviewing their safeguarding procedures. Perhaps, as a result of that, they have concluded that having Susie as CEO is not compatible with safeguarding?

Yes, the trustees are personally liable for any legal risks.

Hope they all have good insurance.

Am I the only one wondering if something interesting is coming in this weekend's papers?

NoSquirrels · 25/11/2022 18:27

Good gravy. Never thought I’d see the day.

What excellent, excellent news.

EdgeOfACoin · 25/11/2022 18:29

Now that is interesting...!

Given the massive safeguarding failures, it's incredible that the press have not comprehensively outed the whole shameful organisation.

I’m thinking the same!
