Being a real feminist is probably overrated. I'm not getting into the whys and wherefores of this. I support PP. Brave woman, getting shit done. 💪

Agreed.

Why is my post deleted for "referencing a deleted post" when others' posts on the same subject still stand?

Wtf is going on?

Shinyredbicycle · 15/11/2022 21:59

Ah, I was uncivil about Tara Woolf in my post. Fair enough. Just saying that the demographic of TRAs in the UK in 2018 was completely different to the types attracted to these events at the current time in the US.

Anyone with moobs out should be arrested 😒

Being topless isn't prosecuted in New York:

In February 2013, the New York City Police Department issued a command to all its officers through their daily roll call. It reminded officers that they are not to cite or arrest a woman for public lewdness, indecent exposure or any other section of the Penal Law for "simply exposing their breasts in public."

Good that you found out shiny

She is an enemy to feminism. I find it bizarre she us lauded on a supposedly feminist board.

” An enemy “? Are you having a laugh?
The enemies are men demanding that women play along with their kinks and/ or their mental health issues.

TheBiologyStupid · 15/11/2022 22:06

Doubtless those idiots would try to have it both ways, Rufus!

RufustheFloralmissingreindeer · 15/11/2022 22:09

They probably would 😀

I would say an enemy to feminism would be a person who dismisses violence against women who speak in public about the rights is women and children.

And who doubles down when it is pointed out to them.

What kind of feminist does that?

oh yeah. Forgot. Real feminists.

JustStopOilyPoshKids · 15/11/2022 22:25

Just seen the videos.
How is feeling up yr own titties like some parody Pharoah Monch video not a demonstration of them three letters?

Reminds me of the time Aphex Twin had female bikini clad models wearing latex masks of his head. Similarly grotesque

lifeturnsonadime · 15/11/2022 22:27

We can't support her. She is anti-feminist.

As some one else said, who is the we?

I'm sick of being told what I should and shouldn't do and who I should and shouldn't support. That's up to me. But to be honest it tends to be men who try to dictate this not other women.

As for anti feminism, again that depends on your definition. If feminism means what I believe it to mean, which is believing that a woman is an adult human female & that feminism is supporting the rights of those who meet that definitions, then in my opinion she's nailed it.

Ah so not deleted for dissention then and having a different view to the prevailing view on here - care to retract your earlier comment now @antelopevalley ?

Yes, you're probably right. I do see some similarities, but maybe it's just violent males looking scary.

I have repeatedly said I do not know KJK well enough to know if I personally like her or not. Although she has called me names to my face, she is not someone I want to be friends with.

That seems a bot contradictory - called you names to your face but you don't know her? When did this happen then?

ArabellaScott · 15/11/2022 22:31

If 'feminism' is mounting hate campaigns against women you disagree with, then count me the fuck out. What utter nonsense.

I do love the hyperbole though - enemy to feminism why do TRAs and posters like antelopevalley always, always use such melodramatic hyperbole?

No idea because it has the opposite affect on me.

No one gets to tell me what I should believe.

It's on a par with the whole trans women are women mantra. Akin to a religious belief. Of course KJK is evil because what she says is the opposite of the belief.
