It was great to stand with my sisters today, and see councillors prepared to stand with women on this.

I just read about this now - violently attacks a male prisoner so is moved to a female prison. This is from the article I read:

"She identifies as female, but, notwithstanding that, she had been placed in the male prison population at Polmont, and the court can probably anticipate the difficulties that caused her.
"She was targeted for quite some time in the lead-up to this, and from her perspective she found it almost impossible to try and seek assistance from the proper route in the Prison Service because that brought more issues and difficulties for her in the context of those that were targeting her.
"On this occasion she decided to try and stand up for herself about something that had been said to her the previous evening."

So instead of sorting out their own house and procedures, they just move the problem into a women's prison. What happens when one of the women says something she doesn't like? I bet they won't move Dolatowski back.

When will this madness end?

Much as I hate what is happening, it is bringing into the spotlight the problems with males being able to self identify as women and move to the female estate. I bloody well hope he’s not there for very long, or has unsupervised access to any women. It’s clearly not fair on the prisoners OR on the female staff working within the prison.

I’m very GC but I don’t have an issue with TW being kept in a separate wing of a male prison especially if they have a grc.
Dolatowski is scum but there are probably transwomen in for non-violent crimes who should be set apart from the rest of the male population. Especially if they have taken a lot of hormones or had reassignment surgery.

He was in Polmont Young Offenders institution - the male estate. Dolatowski was there before being moved to the womens estate. Ie the male was in the right place and did not need to be moved.
Dolatowski is 22 and they come out of the YOI at 21anyway

His age is part of the problem - one of Nipoleons (and the wierdo greens) ways of getting to the children has been to make so that you can't really be responsible for crimes or anything till you are 25 as their little brains aren't mature enough. Of course she wants them to vote for her at 16 as their brains aren't mature enough and have been indoctrinated through the education system. They can also change gender without parental consent at 4 too because their brains are obviously mature enough to understand the implications of that.

Was he getting picked on in Polmont for being a tranny or for being a paedo? They didn't distinguish in the article. If it was for being a paedo then this isn't a transphobic issue at all is it.

So beat up another prisoner and instead of being punished, get rewarded by being transferred to the prison you always wanted to be in anyway.

Do you know, today when we were protesting and handing letters out to councillors - I tried to hand a letter to a female councillor and she stormed ahead and said ‘no chance’, How fucking dare they place a convicted paedophile in a women’s and children’s refuge and then blatantly disregard their constituents concerns over this. How fucking dare they put women and children at risk and then not explain themselves. Anyway, the good news is, some of the councillors are just as angry as we are and we are not letting it drop.

I think the suggestion was that it was a story that had been made up. Because as we know, this could never happen.

not making excuses here i don't think over 18s should be housed with under 18s in correctional facilities but there is good solid evidence about when brains mature.

In what circumstances would the SPS decide a male was unsuitable for a woman's prison? What would it take?
