Well that's one less beardy man on there defending rape and death threats.

In fact, the outright rage expressed above by Freespirit42 over JKR's received threats is very interesting. Freespirit is not outraged that these threats exist, or that they are being minimised and excused as "accountability".

Freespirit is, instead, enraged because their existence lends weight to the position that dangerous men exist and we need safeguards against them. This does not sit with Freespirit's ideology and therefore Freespirit is furious that we are insisting on taking them seriously. The only response, then, is "what about these threats from other men, what about Posie Parker saying things I don't like. What about, what about, what about..."

It's not really what should be making people angry.

Anyone on the side of this debate which opposes women's rights, LGB rights and child safeguarding has a moral obligation to make it clear that however insane and bigoted views they do not align with the death and rape (with girl-dick, natch) threats that are all over the TRA side.

Given the lack of constant death and rape threats from GC women and men the reverse does not seem to be true.

Really you need to follow some trans people accounts they will show the direct messages they get and yes it’s death threats but believe what you want. Oh and seen as many trans are homosexual or bisexual none of us are homophobic I mean I do find it funny when glinner basically accused Graham Norton a gay man of being a homophobe

It's evidenced from your combativeness, your insistence on "sides", your attempt to dismiss the threats with endless whataboutery, your desire to reduce the debate to Oppression Olympics (which you lose anyway) and your absolute refusal to address the fact that you've placed your ideology above women's safety and women's consent. You literally don't believe women should have the right to refuse consent to male bodied people in their spaces.

Also I don’t oppose women rights I did find it interesting that so many anti trans accounts that say they are for womens rights never stand up fast enough about when abortions was being discussed I am a big believer in womens rights it’s just that my feminism also includes trans women

It is not an opinion. Feminism as a social movement has a history dating back to the days of Suffragists/Suffragettes. It has always been woman centred. The fact that it has been derailed in recent decades by the young women who rights were gained by their predecessors is not opinion. It is historical fact. Moreover it is ignorant and it is really ungrateful.
