As a person who has young trans people in my daily life and who knows at least two teens who organised to receive binders without their parents knowing, I can assure you that the level of ‘care’ that Mermaids gives is appalling.

And that's the way the algorithm works, your "For You" page won't show the same things as mine does as it depends what you interact with. Just yesterday I saw a video of an extremist TRA and it was stitched (meaning that someone added the relevant parts of the video to their own so that they could comment on it) by a trans person who was calling them out for their behaviour and saying they are continuously damaging trans people with their hate. I see it often because I interact with it. It's out there, people simply need to look and then interact with the videos (liking, commenting, watching the entire thing, visiting the persons page) to see more.
