The problem is that there is a difference between those that have genuine dysphoria, and those that just get their kicks from being 'trans' when it suits.
How do we tell the difference? We can't. Life your life however you want, but don't force women to share spaces with men.

Trans women statistically less safe than cis women - how can they be allowed to read out this shire?

I feel for all these children that are going to regret this in the future. Agree with Maya that it is trendy at the mo to be trans, no -binary etc. Just like there was a trend a few years ago for girls to be lesbian or bisexual. Most grow out of it, but many will now be stuck in limbo. These kids are going to have so many problems.
