BB cheerleading for giving cross sex hormones to children

the more the merrier as far as she’s concerned

I mean there’s no downside amirite?

BB is so brittle

clo to tears if I’m any judge

I thought the same. I think she’s realised, through giving this evidence, there is something seriously amiss with Mermaids position.

The scales are falling in real time on camera. I’m not surprised she’s emotional.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 13/09/2022 14:52

She would class them as lesbians.

I think she's not paying any regards to a consistent definition. We know that these FTMs are mostly lesbians, and she calls them lesbians, not "straight men", and the 9% of "straight" people that she keeps mentioning probably doesn't include these young women or surely it would be much higher.

nauticant · 13/09/2022 14:52

If you're wondering about these articles, in BB's witness statement there are 26 pages of statement and nearly 200 pages of exhibits:

The drag queen bondage calendar, just in case anyone has forgotten it. All proceeds to Mermaids.

chilling19 · 13/09/2022 14:54

I wonder why BB did not update her witness statement

WallaceinAnderland · 13/09/2022 14:55

Negative reactions are probably just possible headaches.

Sheesh

Buffypaws · 13/09/2022 14:56

this woman makes no sense I can’t follow at all

nauticant · 13/09/2022 14:56

BB: Puberty blocking medication has to be used before puberty.

I think that's flat out wrong.

Surely she’s on dangerous ground now given Susies trip to Thailand

TheClitterati · 13/09/2022 14:57

BB "PB are widely, safely and uncontroversially used on transchildren worldwide"

Ameanstreakamilewide · 13/09/2022 14:57

Susie Green knows that, that's why she took her kid to Thailand on his 16th birthday...🤨

Ereshkigalangcleg · 13/09/2022 14:58

Keira Bell wasn't put on them before puberty. The drugs also suppress sex hormones for both sexes post puberty which is why they are also used for endemetriosis, IVF, prostate cancer.

LaughingPriest · 13/09/2022 14:58

KM: You refer to a report that indicates nothing to worry about re PBs, para 38 but a study by Tavistock records 43/44 prescribed PBs went on to x-sex hormones yes?
BB:Yes so clinicians right re PBs

Oh .. my... God...

nauticant · 13/09/2022 14:58

Keira Bell wasn't put on them before puberty.

This is one of the things that's making me really angry. She'll come out with all kinds of shit if it suits where her argument is at any particular moment.

Mmmnotsure · 13/09/2022 15:05

KM: one of your reasons to stop LGBA as a charity is because Mermaids may get less money
BB: yes, basically. That could happen

pattihews · 13/09/2022 15:05

Bingo! They don't want any competition. BB can't believe why any organisation would want to donate or have training from LGBA, but it's a danger...

nauticant · 13/09/2022 14:58

Susie Green knows took her kid to Thailand before the child's 16th birthday.

did her child undergo SRS on their 16th birthday?

when you think about what SRS really means, it’s like something out of a horror story

chilling19 · 13/09/2022 14:54

I wonder why BB did not update her witness statement

Sorry Chilling. Can you explain please?

CrossStichQueen · 13/09/2022 15:07

KM: one of your reasons to stop LGBA as a charity is because Mermaids may get less money
BB: yes, basically. That could happen

And there we have it.
This was never about the children gay trans or otherwise it was about lining their pockets!

nauticant · 13/09/2022 15:07

Yes, BernardBlacksWineIcelolly and I suspect it was presented as some kind of birthday present.

Competition across the charity sector for grant funding is common.

But as Mermaids and LGBA support totally different audiences, this is not a convincing argument.

That’s fucking dark

VestofAbsurdity · 13/09/2022 15:08

That's exactly what it was presented as nauticant.
