How significant is this report that claims the public feels police officers are "more interested in being woke than solving crimes"?

Home Secretary should reform failing police forces - think tank https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-627323366^

Very pleased to see this statement, and the BBC reporting it, but is it going to make a difference?

All you have done is minimise people's very real concerns. Stop with the emotional blackmail. As Alison says, she has no idea who you are, it wasn't a threat, it was an extremely salient point.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 05/09/2022 23:46

This is a public forum, not a private WhatsApp group. It could be shared by anyone, including in court.

FlibbertyGiblets · 05/09/2022 23:48

Before you go, take a moment to know that I remember your presence from old times, with fondness and admiration. This new war against women is ghastly, and pits woman against woman, makes enemies of friends.

I won't forget you x

Ereshkigalangcleg · 05/09/2022 23:48

Read what winterfire posted. A person was barred from a position for a charity because they campaigned for the majority political position on Brexit, because someone reported the act of campaigning, using the official Leave campaign materials, as racist.

AlisonDonut · 05/09/2022 23:59

What is ghastly is being able to destroy people, by being allowed to record non crime hate incidents, with no right of appeal, in secret, against someone with no evidence whatsoever.

This is supposed to be a democratic country where people have rights, and this has been removed with no authority.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 06/09/2022 00:00

That police officers can't see this, is scary.

SongAtTwiighlight · 06/09/2022 00:42

The Police Services in the UK should be there to deal with actual crime in real life, not what they've been trained by Stonewall to regard as even worse than crime in real life, the most heinous of crimes - the misgendering of a male on Twitter.

Give it up, mate. Please go back to investigating actual violent crimes against people, particularly those against women such as rape and sexual assault, which are now practically decriminialised in the UK currently due to the shockingly low investigation and prosecution rate. Rather than smirking about your justification for non-hate non-crime non-incidents (but you can still get out there on intimidation exercises and knock on doors pointed out to you by Stonewall guidance and monitors/supervisors).

Ereshkigalangcleg · 06/09/2022 00:44

Well said.

@stillvicarinatutu @FlibbertyGiblets isn't the only one to remember you as helpful and kind on other threads. I do too.

This is clearly an area where we are all out of our depth, at least at first. I'm sure MNHQ will delete your posts soon enough.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 06/09/2022 01:05

Look at some of your comments towards women on this thread. Dereg, or don't, it's your choice, but maybe give the emotional blackmail a rest. Nothing is "coming" and I think it's quite a DARVO moment to suggest it is. This is a public forum. We all know the score when we post here. It's anonymous.

VestofAbsurdity · 06/09/2022 01:07

You are taking all this so personally @stillvicarinatutu when as has been repeatedly pointed out we ae discussing the Police as a body and infiltration into that body of the very political, very damaging Gender Ideology espoused by Stonewall et al, evidence of it is that very email you received from within your own Force, can you not see that? Your Force you say is not 'Stonewalled' and yet they are sending out emails to you that repeat the very mantras of Stonewall's Gender Ideology.

Fair Cop is not an anti-police organisation it is an organisation against the politicisation of the Police - as a body and a publicly funded body - by a Political Lobbying Group preaching Gender Ideology as fact which is totally detrimental to the Police and their role and is rapidly diminishing trust, faith in and respect for the Police.

It is the overall picture that is the issue and the many, many incidents that support that.

Please try and gain some perspective here, the emotional language and blackmail coming from you is unnecessary and unwarranted.

SongAtTwiighlight · 06/09/2022 01:12

stillvicarinatutu has done that traditional male thing of attempted bludgeoning, and when that doesn't work, go for the emotional blackmail.

No, mate. We're women. We've been here before.

As I said, away with you with the tiresome attempt at emotional blackmail!

How do we know you're telling the truth?!

We don't!

Most of us women here have quite a lot of experience of men (of all ages) talking bollocks at us. And their tactics. Honestly, it's like a crib sheet - Step 1, Step 2, Step 3 etc!

I'm sorry you are having a hard time in your life. I fail to see how it's relevant to you calling women on this thread "harridans" and telling them they were "making up their own rubbish" when they quote from perfectly understandable court judgments which you haven't grasped the meaning of. You have inserted yourself into the middle of this, despite no one saying it was your fault, and then dismissed everything people have said and blocked all general criticism of the sainted U.K. police. I suggest you find a more supportive thread to talk about your difficult personal matters because you haven't covered yourself in glory on this one.

If you are found, it's no one's fault here. This is a fully public forum that literally anyone in the world can read, maybe be more circumspect about what you post? Like women who post gender critical stuff have to be, or they get reported to the police and have Orwellian "non crimes" recorded against them.

VestofAbsurdity · 06/09/2022 01:36

You were the one who made it personal @stillvicarinatutu you made it all about you, you couldn't or wouldn't separate the Police as a body from you as a Police Officer.

The discussion was about the overall changes within the Police as a whole, the report was about that not about you personally.

I've asked several times if you do not see that there is a problem with the public losing faith, trust in and respect for the Police due to the embedding of Gender Ideology which has been evidenced by many, many incidents and you don't answer.

The response to the incident in Surrey re the person in the rainbow decorated Police car dictated how the public should discuss and debate Gender Ideology that is not the role of the Police - do you not find that alarming?

Ereshkigalangcleg · 06/09/2022 01:37

They're not an "anti police movement" they're a pro good police movement.

I doubt they're going to be interested in you personally either. They're interested in the College of Policing guidelines and the misuse of police powers.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 06/09/2022 01:40

Really deeply unpleasant people

More insults. Great stuff!
