I've been a long time poster on Mumsnet, but recently in the last couple of months I feel like I can't say anything anymore. If I attempt to say anything that isn't in lockstep with gender ideology, my account seems to get removed. Can anyone please help me with a code to Ovarit?

I really don't want to leave Mumsnet as I’ve developed a very strong connection to this website, but I feel like me and my views are no longer in line with Mumsnet’s HQs thinking and it's progress too far in the wrong direction. I’ve met some beautiful and wonderful women in my time here, and it’s a shame that I feel like I’m being made to leave.

I post a lot on Feminism and my posts aren't deleted. I am active on twitter in batches, and also active in real life. I'm GC (very in fact) but I dont get involved at all with any of the GC/trans personal politics. Do you? Before you leave perhaps looking at your posting - I dont mean at all that you should self-censor. But it is strange that you feel you can no longer post, yet the boards are active about good campaigns relating to women's sex-based rights.

Sometimes TRAs do get on to Ovarit, but they get sniffed out rather quickly. On the whole I’d rather err on the side of letting one in than excluding a woman who really needs a place to speak freely but perhaps I’m being a big sap.

yes. There has been plenty of posters with absolutely no history posting posts that are obvious and those are deleted. Report any brand new user name that seems troll like and let MNHQ decide. (Ie. No troll hunting).

I actually don’t think that modding has been stricter than usual though. Since a couple of court cases have gone through, we have more freedom than years past I feel. But I get it. It takes effort to pretzel your words.

It is obviously a poster’s choice to remain and post within the guidelines but it is very possible to post ‘meaningfully’ and not get deleted, if you know what I mean.

Twitter seems to be having a resurgence in suspending and banning again. It seems to be as it ever was. Has it improved much? Or is it that some accounts on twitter get away with misgendering now? I wonder if that will remain so for long.

I honestly haven’t noticed modding here changing for the worse in the past six months.

To those who asked why the OP’s message raised my hackles and made me wonder if this was an infiltration attempt (and with apologies to the OP if they are genuine): a number of phrases used are not standard MN language or shorthand, so it sounds to me like someone who is claiming a long posting history without evidence of it in their language. Am not going to list specifics for obvious reasons!

As an aside, 4chan isn't particularly GC.

I believe it is meant to be a reference to extremist views that greycouncil who is also a brand new username, so potentially a name changer, is making.

It seems in line with their other posts I have noticed over the past day or two.
